It works now, but will prohibit you from hitting tricks later, and will also make your style weird. I would work on fixing that toe stall before you do anything else. Make it look like the other side. Watch how good players set, straight up. The top of your foot should always be parallel to the ground. A flat surface rising and setting the bag.
And that atomic set looked fine, but will look better if you fix that toe stall.
i set my right toe to the side because... i can't see over my right knee meaning that i have a problem with where i'm standing over the bag..
so i have worked on it and still need more work but this is what i'm focusing on:
- toe set more inward
- point knee inward, don't throw whole leg over the bag
- bring leg back down after dex in order to link to tricks
- fix posture.
brian, its not to say i don't practice basics, but rather i get a bit bored from practicing simple tiltless and need something new once in a while... atm its atomic set.
i don't plan on linking them just yet, just practicing and seeing where i am
