Why does Daryl always write so much in here ?

Keep a diary of what you're hitting, what's frustrating you, and your goals.

Bullocks. I felt like working on the linkage of those moves rather then
trying to get their advanced cousins.

That was yesterdays glory, today things were a lot more down to earth-
i played for 90 minutes and half of that time was dedicated to infinities.

The rest was butter>drifter>drifter, butter>sidewalk (which i hate),
paradon>pdx dlo, legbeater>ducking butter, and sealing those with strings
both sides, if i failed to repeat them.

As for single trix i worked on basic gyro moves and barfly, flip is slowly catching up...

lake session with my girlfriend, who has talent, but lacks quantums and
a bag of her own .

i drilled infinities like crayze, and now the ice is broken ; still havent killed
the 20 mark, but got annoyingly close at least 15 times .
The last three attempts were all 19  , once i hit 18 and my gf wasnt sure if she missed a coupla contacts at the beginning...well, i hit 30 on tuesday then :P

i also drilled dexless and messed around with tripless combos like :
atom>park>barfly and toeblur>atom>slapdown and so on

Last week was kool - i made a lot of progress regarding my teaching skills,
met my new student, an 11 year old persian boy with crazy cognitive
abilities that skipped a whole year and has to learn the basics of the
lingua latina in a crash course, and i cant wait to hit him up with my nu plans.

I also had some visitors over from Ontario - Ben Roscoe and Jamie .
Although i was pretty short on time, i hope those guys enjoyed their
stay nonetheless . We had two nice sessions, hung out at the pub, where
my Dad performs, went to a lake nearby and checked out the city .
We also wanted to party on friday, but that didnt happen, because of
the troubles i had to sort out with my gf . But, by the holy St.Absinth,
i pledge to make it up to them in the up and comming week of WORLDS .

Worlds. In Praha. Wow . I gonna be there with Pia who's bringing a friend,
all my main footbag mates will be there aswell obviously, and i will meet
one of my best friends - whom i havent met in ten years - for his
twisted version of a stag night . I hope still be able to walk when i come home.

Footbag. Well, i gotta say "Mixed Emotions " comes to mind - not a great
state to be in, and clearly one of The Stones' weakest songs .
I did ok i guess, but when i watched Ben, who has an awesome style
and is a few levels ahead with the stuff that i'm currently learning, i peeped
a lot of flaws in my game . The main thing that needs improvement
is my consistency - i know its natural not to have the stuff thats in
process solid, but i hate short runs. I also gotta work on my concentration.
Like i could hit frontside atom, ps whirl, rev-up, quantum whirl, phoenix and pixie para,
but i dropped butterflies and even ducking clippers...

And watching Bens flowing symmetry and ninja like shuffle, it hit me
with the fist of Zeus, THAT STYLE IS EVERYTHING (as in form and execution).
It feels good to know where to start ones work, and although i made a big
leap forward, there is sooo much more to be learned, loved and understood.

All of this came out crooked, over-long without being exact, xmas aint every day i guess, but its good to record stuff anyway .

Today i had a hardcore drill session, well it was some sort of bootcamp
shred that might have been used in the time of the prussian army.
Wether i got stuff down or was constantly missing the last and deciding stall, i continued .
I worked tiltless, failing to go past 50 , but hit 40+like 4 times, also skooled my
flip clip>far abilities and illusions (thx Ben).
Then butter>butter>drifter>rpt, then quantum, double downs, swirls,
dexless, atomic/tapping, gyro, stepping, rubberman and some bigger trix. 3hrs in total 8)

dso>quantum legover>short string bs

(flip) toeblur>toeblur>toeblur>fat string (20 cons ?)

blur>atom>legbeater>blur>atom>atomic drop many times, same thing
when i started with legbeater.....sooooon

(legbeater>dlo>rpt)

toeblur>dlo bsos in a decent string (1.try)

legbeater>stepping legover>rpt>string (1.try)

some strings i was pleased with aaaand, as a sweetener, i finally hit

MULLET (twice)

Life is good. I feel that i'm better at stretching my arms around the incredible
paradox . I gave up giving up, i left work and work started to come to me .

In that spirit, Prague - i gotta call it that because it was more of an experiment,
than worlds ( in a lot of ways ) - was a rewarding and revealing
experience . A lot of the aspired objectives, such as having an easy trip
up there by car, playing lots of footbag and meeting my best friend Peter
whom i havent seen for seven years, didnt really tune themselves in .
Our car broke down several times on the way, and some incompetent fool
smashed the window of our rental car . Pia's mood was on a down note since
then, the following complications and the crappy weather didnt help at all .
My buddy wasnt in Prague afterall, and as for shred-time, well you know
/can guess how that went. The last night, whrer we actually had a plce to play -
a dammned decent one, wait till you see the vids - i had to stop
after 30 minutes of short strings : i fell down several steps in the morning,
and my hip/ass didnt let me forget it.
But i didnt worry too much. The party itself was only so-so, but i had some
fun chats and a couple of great talks with great people .
When i was on my way home around 7 in the morning together with Toby
- who, together with Alex from Dortmund made it possible for me to survive -
i was beaming with smiles and joyful memories of having met
dear friends and new interesting people such as Ramil, Lena and Anne .

I feel very grateful that my girlfriend made the trip possible .
Thanks for putting up to all this crap like a true spartan, Honey -
i love you.

Tomorrow will be such a nice day - i'm more succsessful at doing stuff
that makes me happy lately, but tomorrow is almost pushing it.
Sleeping in, push ups, shower, healthy breakfast, revising the beat i'm making right now, meditate, race to the lake.
Later that day, i will have a latin/old history session with my new wonderful
pupil, i shall shred it up with my crew and Erik and Tuan again
and afterwards we gonna have a clash of the arms with the fell Dark
Elves of Carn Dum, who shamelessly roam the woods of Aeglos,
the high elven stronghold in the far North.

long post .
