Paula, damn, that first jazz track is hot! Wow im really impressed, loved the vibraphone sound and the bass solo at the end is hot. The hard panning o
The monome vid is killer as well, there's just this one electro sound at like 55ish seconds that is way too loud compared to everything else, but of course I was mesmerized by the hypnotic blue lights at the time as well.
Nice to hear you producing stuff!
I did want to offer constructive criticsm though, I just found some of the panning on the instruments to be a bit too extreme, maybe you could pan them less hard, but that's such a minor technicality. The melodies were off the hook on both tracks, great guitar playing in there.

thanks nick, i really appreciate that. as soon as i started putting stuff together i immediately thought you needed to hear it. it really means a lot that you like it.
the vibraphone track is entirely sampled, i taught myself logic pro making that and another track
the monome stuff is why i started producing music entirely, its what inspired me to stop just spinning records and actually make something (macbook pro didnt hurt either) and the monome track was all me baby
constructive criticism is welcome, i agree i probably overdid it with my automation curves, and it was never actually mastered properly.

Here are the barebones for a song I started working on last night.
Any advice? It's pretty repetitive so far, only put in 2.5 hours work. There's still a lot to be done.

I like the idea a lot, the reverse drums and the sample are great and I love it when the breaks kick in.
As for advice, you could add a bassline that kicks in when the vocal sample finishes, and eventually fade out the arpeggiated line in the back and introduce some new elements. What you have right now sounds more like an intro to a song, but the main body is missing.
Production-wise the mix sounds good, but the initial drums are a tad too loud, specifically high-frequency the shaker/hat could be toned down a tad.
This could be a pretty sick track if you keep working at it!

I bought an mc303 a few weeks ago, I sequenced the new stuff with that...weird shit...worse music as time goes by.

Most of my fl music uses vst plugins...They are nice if you get decent ones. I have yet to find a subtractive synth vst plugin that I like though, I'm usually too lazy to program sounds so I'll just use presets, or sometimes I'll design a sound on my synthesizer and sample it to my computer and use that sample/samples.
I have some new music up, had some guy rap over a beat I made, made an orchestral tune for an independent fps game which I have joined (making music..)
some idm, downtempo stuff.

This style was kind of a first for me, and although I'm happy with how it generally sounds and how much work I put into it, I think the quality is pretty bad, and I may re-record it at a later time.
So other than technical stuff, I'm open to any criticisms.
edit: this is apparently taking more time to load than i thought it would, so don't be angry if the song hasn't appeared yet
