Good News-Ricky Moran

Well, I have great news, Ricky has lost his job and is now officially footbagging again. He has had 3 sessions so far and I got to kick with him for his third this last weekend. His stepping is a lot weaker but otherwise he hasn't missed a beat in the last year or two he hasn't played. He really tore it up when we kicked, I was so stoked! We are already talking about getting him out to the next tourny and he really wants to make it to next year Worlds. We are in the process of getting him to move closer here to Seattle, and he may be living with me in the next year with Sam Colclough.
Let the return of Ricky and RCS commence!

edit: yeah, that sentence is confusing, everything else about his game is there, he got whirr bsos easily, along with blurriest, vortexes and mobiuses. He also kicked out 5 5's which is amazing. And his spinning ducking is off the hook!!!!

I'm stoked to hear Ricky is coming back. He had one of my favorite styles ever. Frankly, even if he never does stepping set again, I don't think I would care. It's all about his spins and ducks for me.

Awesome news! Hopefully see a video out in the fall then? All his spins and ducks are a huge influence on me.

I still can't get over this first statement. Only on a footbag forum would this be great news.

Glad to hear he is kicking again. Hope to get a chance to play with both you guys sometime in the future. :D

I almost cried when I read the title of this thread. Then I thought it might be a cruel joke, but it WASN'T!!!!

I will bike to Seattle to shred with Ricky again. Most likely Red well drive me though, so we should get together and have a JAM! PM me to let me know when you guys want the P-town crew up and I'll get the P-town crew to go.

Ricky is one of my all time favorite players.
Spinning Ducking is such a great concept.
His entire trick selection is just dopeness.

I remember Ricky setting some spinning ducking/diving records at my request years ago in Seatlle. He is the master of those.

I always thought he had one of the most skilled styles with endless potential and no wasted energy during his tricks.
