Nice video. I like your string length.

You need to work on making your stepping easier. It's taking way too much effort. It seems to me like your set and dex are too separated. They are two distinct motions, but they are done together. Watch Vasek or Dave do it in slow motion to see what I mean.

Yeah, i know it needs work (my stepping), but it's coming along. Thanks for the advice.

New Video. This was a fun session. My playing streak is increasing, this is currently my third day. Lets see how long i can last having a session everyday, and filming it, and making a vid of it.

As usual, critiques are welcome ect ect.

Had an ok sesh today. Stepping is getting better every sesh, i can feel it. Spinning and Ducking is coming along to, which is awesome because i always was terrible at those concepts. Double Downs are getting more consistent to. Highlights

 LegoverX20>PickupX20 for some warmup
 Fairy Rev Whirl>Dyno>Dbl Pickup BSOS (EDIT) (Barely sealed)
 Whirl War (Again, have to hit it every session)
 Stepping far Legover Outside
 Some good long runs, my string length is getting better.
(EDIT) forgot Ducking Clip>Spinning Clip>Rpt

Everything listed is in todays vid.

I recommend that you use the little link below the video and watch it on youtube using the "watch in high quality" option. It really does make a difference.

I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE MANNA! (Or was it me that challenged you??)

Shred today at the YMCA in Ashland. Sadly i did not bring my camera, but i did have some pretty awesome highlights.

 Whirl War x2 (YEAH!)
 Spinning Ducking Clip BS
 Whirr (Rather sloppy)
 SS Symple Swirl BSOS
 Lots of Gyro clippers
 Run with lots of ducking, diving, and gyro clippers, and some toe shuffle mixed in.
 Ripwalk>Ripwalk midstring with the best feeling stepping sets I've ever done.

Lots of good stuff that session. Stepping gets better everyday, and i can finally see it becoming semi consistent. Atomic is coming to, but very very slowly. Will be a while before you see me throw that mid toe shuffle with ease, but it'll happen, don't worry about that.

Whirls are becoming easier, and i love that Pdx Whirl is actually consistent now, both sides to. It makes me happy being able to hit that BSOS almost every time.

Starting to work Swirls a lot, and hit them a bunch BSOS today. Love the combo Osis>Swirl>Osis>Swirl>Osis>Rev Swirl>Osis>Rev Swirl. Always feels awesome hitting any kind of swirl move out of Osis.

Might film today for aforementioned Hack Off with Yum Yum, but I'm pretty pooped, and i have some school work to do. So we'll see. Sorry about not getting a new video up today.

Oh well.

had a session today, filmed the Hack Off, hit some cool stuff.

 Whirl War x2 again
 Sidewalk>Ripwalk>Rpt (Stepping clicked for a second)
 4 b2b Gyro Clippers>run with Pdx Drifter BSOS
 (Barefoot) Toe set Pdx Tap

All in all it was ok. I was disappointed with the my performance for the Hack Off. I think Manna is going to take me down.

Thanks manna for doing the Hack Off. That was definitely fun.

Had a session today. Was going to make a video, but as i was uploading the last piece of footage the program crashed, so i decided it was to much of a hassle (for me at least) to upload it all again. I'll list the highlights though.

 Atom>Legbeater>Pdx Mirage>Rpt>Short Run
 Atom>Atom>Good Run
 Merkon BSOS
 Dimwalk>Blur>Rpt>Ok Run (First time hitting a blur that felt good)
 Fume BSOS (Fairy Drifter)
 Toe set Ducking Drifter BS
 Toe set Matador
 Spinning Osis BS
 Zulu Clip BSOS
 Vortex BS Again
 Osis>Blur link midstring

All i can remember right now. It was actually a pretty good session. Every time i play i notice my stepping gets a little better. It's cool to watch myself steadily progress. Spinning, Ducking, and Diving are now semi-consistent. Which is something i never would have imagined would happen so quickly for me. All in all this past week of playing everyday and drilling has really benefited me, and i'm more excited for footbag then I've ever been.

I strive to model my mentality after Ben Skaggs. I think he's and awesome player and i love the way he approaches the game. It's exciting thinking about all the things i can work on tomorrow.

Footbag is fun.

Had a really spur of the moment 40 minute session. basically spent the entire time working ducking clippers.

Hit my goal

10 b2b Ducking Clippers

Felt pretty good. I figure that my toe game is ok for now, and that i should focus more of my energy into improving my clipper play. This includes spinning, ducking, and stepping stuff.

It's not in that video i posted earlier, but during that session Cale and I were messing around with double ducking kinda stuff. We both hit some cool and fun stuff.

 Ducking Diving Clipper
 Diving Ducking Clipper
 Diving Weaving Clipper
 Ducking Diving Op Clipper (Like Ducking Zulu)

The cleanliness of these concepts is definitely questionable, but i think we were doing them justice.

I am reading Great Expectations. It's not very much fun.

I'm going to go watch more Naruto Shippuden. Good night.

Nah, i watch all the episodes on MegaVideo.com They're in Japanese with English subtitles. I can't get through an episode of the American dubbed show. Frankly it's the most addicting anime I've ever encountered. I stayed up until four one night watching it non-stop.

Yeah, I just finished all the episodes up to 71, so now i actually have to wait for the new ones to come out

Had a good one hour session. Was lots of fun, no camera.

highlights

 Fairy Paradon bs
 Paradon>Barrage bsos
 Duck>Dive>Rpt midstring
 Diving Clip>Gyro Clip>Rpt
 DDD bs

Felt good, and best of all i didn't feel drained afterwards. Felt really good all round.

Barfly B2B is right around the corner.

had a fun session with Cale in Ashland yesterday. Stepping is getting better, came close to flip blurriest.

Highlights

 Food Processor, First six. Oh yeah boo-eeeyyyy!

Also starting to throw far symp reverse whirl, because it looks awesome.

Thats it for now.

Had a nice sesh at the tennis courts near my house.

Highlights

 Run with Torque>Dyno>Rpt Midstring and some Pixie/Fairy shuffle.
 Barfly b2b starting on both sides
 Whirl War x2 first try
 Reverse Whirl War
 Stepping Op Clip Bsos
 DDD Bsos first try (Hit my flip one out of ripwalk!)

I cut my toe walls off. It doesn't feel much different without them there, except that my shoe feels a bit looser. My toe sets are clean, don't worry about that.

Going to work more spinning, ducking, and stepping stuff next time i play. Double downs are throwable now, which is off the hook, and my ducking/diving is becoming more consistent. Duck>Dive>Rpt feels really good rather then awkward now.

I'm going to be ordering Q3's soon. Have my eyes on the all black ones. Hopefully I'll be able to get a snug shred shoe finally. All my past shoes, including the ones i use now, have been a tiny bit big, causing them to be loose on my feet.

All for now.

Had a session with Cale before seeing Pineapple Express. Hit some cool stuff.

Highlights

 Pdx Torque bsos
 Blurry Whirl bsos
 Gyro Butterfly bs (maybe bsos?)
 Ripwalk>Ducking Butterfly>Torque>Barfly>Run (Fist 4 contact unique tripless)

Plan on playing tomorrow. Might make another video for my blog. We shall see.

I'm feeling pretty freaking happy right now. Life is most def great.

Thanks for the comment Ben.

Hung out with Cale yesterday. Had two sessions, one was ok, the other was quick and awesome.

Highlights

 Flip Blurriest
 A bunch of like 7 or more contact shuffle runs.
 Almost Pdx Torque b2b
 Fairy Torque

I feel like everything's coming along nicely.

I'm stitching multiple bags right now, two for me, and one for Cale. His birthday is coming up soon :D.

The two I'm making for me are a Solid Tulip bag, and a dark purplish color (don't know name) and Petite Pois soccer ball.

Cale's bag is a Stone Grey Hexes and Petite Poise pents soccer ball. I hope it turns out decent.

I ordered a pair of size 9.5 black quantum 03's yesterday. I hope to finally have a shred shoe that actually fits my foot correctly. All my shoes to this point have been a tiny bit to big. I hope the quantums fit snugly.

Highlights

 Pdx Torque>Dyno>Infinity>Rpt
 Fairy SS Torque

Pretty much it for now. I really hope to hang out with Cale today.
