Joebudy's blog

Post by Joe Bielecki »

So I've decided to start blogging, I don't know why because the only thing that I can hit it a leg over (in-out) on each foot, and maybe a clipper stall with my right. Regardless, I think I'll start one now rather than later so I can look back and laugh. (or cry)

Anyway, on monday I hit my first legover with my right foot, thanks to my quantums, and tried to get rather consistant on it. I also tried with my left, I hit it one or twice.

Yesterday I moved my hit to miss ration up to 3:4 with my right and 2:5 with my left. (Legover still)

I haven't gone out today yet, but I might...

ALSO IF ANYONE LIVES IN THE GRAND RAPIDS MICHIGAN AREA PM ME PRONTO!!!!!!!

nice to see you on modified, man. I know the stage you're at. keep at it and it just gets more and more fun the more control you have over the bag and your body. one quick question about your legover. when you say in out, is that what you mean? because a legover has an out-in dex to it. what you're doing sounds either like a pickup if it lands on your other foot or an around the world if it lands on your same foot.

psh it aint no thang, whenever I'm playing with legit footbag players I pretty much don't know any of the moves they're hitting unless I've hit it and even then, the nicknames are hard for me to remember

I hit some legovers today.... (just incase I'm wrong about the name it was toe set>op [dex]>same toe [del])
I acually had a run of 4, not that impressive but considering I've only attempted these today for about 30 min.

Meh

I've taken a break from footbag for a while... due to rain and broken quantums. My new quantums are on the way, and I'm getting a new bag soon as well. My friend's neighbors moved out so we have a free gasrage this winter. Soon I'll acually get some serious shredding done!

Its cool you started a blog so early. Blogs can be a really fun way to track your progress. Hope you get back into footbag soon, and good luck with your progress. Remember, drill a lot, learn everything on both sides, and have fun. :)

The winter is over, finally, my shoes are broken in.
Except, my bag is getting old, I've had to patch it up four times in the past week. So I'm thinking of buying a new one. I've been out of the loop for so long that I'm not sure what to get.
My other option is to try and learn to stitch them again, but I don't know if I have that much patience. Especially if my one bag is nearly dead.
