travelling to NYC August 25-30th

Post by Paulsator »

Hey NYC-Shredders, I'll be in NYC for 5 days from next monday on, on my way to Guatemala.

I would love to shred with you as I did during my last stay in New York 8 years ago in 2000 at union square when I was the bloodiest noob.

Maybe someone could even put me up for a few days. I'll crash on any floor. That would be super-coool and I would thank you forever.

Where and when do you usually shred?

Cheers and thanks for any answers.

Hey Paul,

I joined NYFA about 4 years ago so I'm sure we haven't met, but I'm excited to kick with you sometime! :P I am not sure about a midweek session, as we rarely get together to play during weekdays, but I'm sure we can set something up. I won't be around the weekend of August 30, as that is Funtastiks, but sometime on Tuesday-Thursday of that same week I am available I think.

During the weekdays, our favorite spot is at Union Square, sometime around 5pm EST. On the weekends, we usually play on Saturdays at Washington Square Park, at around 1:30pm in the afternoon.

Paul, if nobody can put you up I have a good friend that shreds with a place in NYC, I will ask him if he could host you.

Paul, do you absolutely have to go back on the 30th??

You should figure out some way to get to Funtastiks, it's that weekend!

We were in the middle of the meadow kicking...

Bruce told me you had my number, Paul. Why didn't you call? :?

edit: We were kicking right next to the freestyle frisbee guys in the middle of Sheep's Meadow. There were a few places on the grass that were flat and was good enough for shred.

Sorry for disappointing your shred day here in NYC, Paul. If it's any consolation, I had an awful time trying to get my ass out of the park (I was wearing contacts, and I can't see ANYTHING once it got dark). I got lost a few times trying to find the exit. I really wanted to play with you!!!! Argh!
