Oh yeah! I played today. Forgot to write about it, because I was asked to go work right after my session. Hmm. I worked on all new stuff today. Double switchover...no where close to being hit, but I hit datw practically every time I tried (more so on my strongside). Pixie clipper...success! bs. And I think this will help me get drifter down. Diving clipper...success! bs. Ducking legover...so close! I was kind of tired by this time, but I did foot it.
I was also attacked by some big ol' bug. Like...I was midstring and saw it come and buzz around my ear, and I was like blah. Then it flew away and came back again and again. I am usually not startled or whatever by bugs, but geez! I was spinning around in circles and running all over the place, trying to swap it away. Get away you freak! It chased me into my garage and then sat there on the window of the door waiting for me for a second. I opened the door and it was still around and almost made it in. I sat there for a longer period of time, and it finally disappeared. Geez!

Oh boy. I don't know if I am going to be able to walk tomorrow...I just tried this new workout out from my new magazine. It is the perfect workout. It was designed for bored home-workouters like myself. It combined 2 or 3 regular exercises into one. 3 circuits of 4 of these exercises to be done 3 times before moving onto the next circuit. I only did 2 sets of it all. Wow. All-body. It is recommended to only do 3 times a week, giving a days rest after each day. I'm gonna be hurting tomorrow! 8)

A thought ran through my head to play footbag during the off days, but I dunno...

I hope I can keep this up for atleast a month. I kept my 2 sets to exhaustion plan up for a good month. Colorado put me out of routine. Then school kept me out. But now I'm coming back. WEE!

I sure do miss footbag, though. I bought a slide for Kayleigh to see if that will keep her entertained other than running tight circles around me. :P

I am full of a good fish dinner and chocolate covered fruit for my birthday. I played some footbag today, too! ...got sent home from work for "my birthday" slash no business, so I made some good use out of it. I hit absolutely nothing, though. That workout last night kicked my butt. I only did 2 sets of everything, too!

Hey hey! It's been a while-ish. I kind of strayed away from footbag lately, because I've had the worst headaches off and on for the past 2 weeks or so. Last couple of times I played (ducked) triggered more headaches, so yeah. But I've been wanting and wanting to play so bad and couldn't take it anymore! Actually, my headache kind of went away after a few pounds of it. Yay! I love it when exercise makes headaches go away.

I hit pixie op legover on each side for the first tries ever! Woot! I hit decent illusions and linked them some. Worked on the hated mir>lo combo for Emily. I hit about 8-10 or so contacts. Sometimes I can't count while I play. All the jumps and dexes confuse me. Hmm...didn't do too much more. Took it easy. I hit some nice, random strings here and there.

Oh. And I hit tons of mosquito bites. They should shape my legs up REAL nice...

On a non-footbag note, I got my associate diploma in the mail the other day. Yay! I'm half-way there!

So I finally made myself time to play footbag out of my busy schedule. These new classes are tough to find extra time. 5 weeks of rushing, btb. Anyways. I worked on pixie legover, illusion, longer strings, my weaknesses, you know the deal. I filmed it, but we'll see when it makes it on here.

Emily: My illusions sucked today, but I figured out to set the bag a lot closer to me to hit them better. The hated mirage>legover string is getting longer (It is on video, so I didn't count. Haha). I think I really hit drifter...and got it down on my strong side. I got the drifters and fake drifters on video, too. Close to hitting ducking butterfly, too.

Camille: I didn't really try pixie pick up as I said I would. :( I've been out of practice for too long that I was barely hitting stuff I should be hitting. I knew I wouldn't have a chance. On the other hand, I tried smear. You should see my attempts. Haha. Yeah...

Hmm...Oh yeah! I hit spinning toe stall on each side. And I tried this cool drill with butterfly>pick up>legover rpt. I pictured it all smooth and flowing, but I couldn't repeat it as smoothly as I pictured. I also hit ducking and diving clippers...some in the same string!

I had fun. Glad I finally got out. Hope I can play again soon.

Had a good session today. You may see some of it tonight or tomorrow if it is worthy enough to share.

I love talking to myself...

Somebody say hi to me!!! I'll love you! Even more!

ANYways, I played a lil' footbag today. Nothing really serious since I worked 7-2 and had Kayleigh with me, but I hit whirling rake for the first time ever. For some reason I thought about it, tried it, and hit it like 5 drops later. bs. Sweet! I put a hole in my fearless 55 on the flipside attempt. :( I also hit some diving clipper strings. Cool cool. That's about it. I worked on drifter...this time from clipper sets. I think I hit some on each side, but I will never know until someone sees me in person about it. Stupid drifters.

Hi Chrissy!!

Props on the whirling rakes! I've found that medical tape makes excellent patches.

Hope that helps some!

I love you. :)

Thanks, man. I'll give the tape a shot if my patches fall off too much.

keep kicking! I should do the same...

Yes, Matt, you should start playing again. I didn't know you had quit. And you better be skooling that alcoholism in a positive way! I'm onto you! Can I buy bag number 200?

Highlights for today:

-consecutive pickup record = 8
-consecutive illusion record = 3 or 4 on each side (4th prob. footed)
-awesome illusion>illusion bsos run (on video)
-legover>illusion rpt to 6 contacts (caught on well compared to last time :))
-really, REALLY close to hitting DLO (figured PLO would help and gave it a shot again)
-nice runs on video
-ducking kinda sucked today
-I yelled at some kid for riding his scooter too close to me

Which is easier: DLO from toe or clipper? I only worked on it from clipper. I was determined to hit it, but dinner was ready. :P

EDIT: Still hitting whirling rakes and thinking about other rakey tricks, and I feel like a sweet video's coming soon.

Nice highlights! props! :)
I think DLO is easier from clipper, but I learned it from toe set first anyway. :P

So I went to a Halloween party at a bar/club last night with my sister and boss and others. I have no idea how to dance, so I played footbag minus the bag a couple of times. Lots of osis were fun. I couldn't think straight to really get a good rhythm, though... :D Fun time!
