I must say that (in my opinion) the shuttle cock does take a longer time to reach the ground. A whole triple dex move can happen in less than 1 second. Thus, every fraction of a second added to the flight can change all other difficulty factors of a trick.
The thought of hitting huge tricks with a new floaty footbag invention is dreamy.
First think about how to practice or don't bother practicing.
