Professional Footbag

Post by bobrifleman »

Now, when i think of pros i think of people that get paid for doing something. When i think about it, i am a "pro footbagger". Some days when its late at the store( i work at a supermarket) i will take out my footbag and just practice. Nothing big because i have to wear dress pants but stalls, clipper stall, etc. Just thought i would throw that out there

You're not a pro because they are paying you to do something that isn't footbag, you just happen to do footbag during the time you're being paid.

If someone gave you a check and in the note thing it said 'footbag sponsorship' then that is totally different. :|

LOL

you aren't a pro footbagger, you don't make a living off footbag.

i'm a lifeguard, and when i'm not guarding, i'm probably kicking a bag around... that doesn't make me a professional footbagger.
like said before, i just happen to be paid while i'm playing... i don't have a sponsorship, and i especially don't get checks just because i'm tiltless (sometimes)... in fact, who would want to sponsor me?

I was hanging with jim penske a few months ago, who had stayed with vasek in prague, and he told me that he got the impression that vasek lived entirely on the money he made from footbag.

I've gotten a few plane tickets and a few bucks out of the game. nowhere close to pro, though.

ps: are you guys sure you want to mess with a Mr. Rifleman?

;)

Maybe just call yourself an expert? Or charge someone 5 bux for a lesson and then you are a pro like a tennis pro or golf pro who gives lessons. Scott D. will sell you the official footbag instructor cetificate for a few bux or a bud. :)

I wouldn't accept money for doing the sport I love. It would ruin it for me.
