pendulous madness

Post by brianbear »

some new pendulous combos I've been hitting lately.
not too sure about the some of the tricks:
kinda looks like pendulous double reverse whirl, but i'm not sure because right after the bag leaves my foot i do a little ?uptime? dex.

hope you all enjoy!

That's stepulous.

Sick Tricks Brianbear. I really enjoy your style. Don't neglect that left leg though.

locomotion is stepping far motion.

Fun stuff Brian!

loved the pendulous ducking/diving rakes. Very cool.
I'm wondering about dexes from pendulous...seems like if you try one dex it's not full, but two might work...
I'm going to work on this set a bit, thanks for the inspiration!

Very cool stuff. By the way, what you called blender was actually dyno. The pendulous ducking and diving rakes were awesome.

Peace.

i'm glad you are all enjoying it mostly.
i didn't even realize how cool the diving rake looked til i went back: i want to see more people do this trick!!!

This wasn't really meant to show my strings, soo i'll make one soon with just that to let you guys see how i work dem pendulous tricks in and out.

Cool stuff. Good to hear you do it on flipside as well, keeping both sided is very important imo. A guy I used to shred with did some of this tricks and I also did a few but nothing as complicated/technical. I'd love to see some of this stuff midstring.

Ducking and diving rakes really are the stuff. Doing from the pendulous stuff makes it even better

First off, GOOD WORK! Really smooth and controlled.
Second, it looks like you've got pendulum and pendulous switched. When you mention hitting Pendulous Rev Whirl, it would have to of been dexed with the opposite leg after being brought around to cross-body. So a Pendulous Rev. Whirl would start on the right toe, be dexed by the left leg, and finally delayed with the right foot. And vice-versa, eventually. ;) If it pops up just like a clipper, then it's pendulous.
My original pendulous/stepulous post
Again, good work. :D

you are the guy everyone is telling me to get in contact with!!!
that is quite the rad video, esp. with the stepulous!!!
ahhh, thanks for the clarification on the trick names/concepts, you put it really well. and now i'll have to start trying "real" pendulous whirls and reverse whirls :)

i believe my attempt at pendulous motion in this vid is a good example of what you described as pendulous.

keep an eye out for my both sided string runs: my left is getting pretty solid.

and i hope to shred with you someday.

You hit pendulous ss duno instead of pendulous blender, am I right.

Still amazing, I can't hit anything better than pendulous butterfly :D

Pendulous atw stole looks sick! :O pendulous ss reverse whirl looks so clean...

About pendulous locomotion...Locomotion is stepping far motion, isn't it? And i didn't notice stepping thing in the trick, maybe i am wrong still i can't imagine how to do pendulous stepping move so...still great trick =)

EDIT! i notice stepping thingy, omg that's aweome! Thumbs up!

Stuff with ducking rake was N-e-a-t! I watched it 10 times and still enjoyed so much! AH damn i am gonna watch it 11th time :D

Last string made this video total sick!

Thanks a lot, waiting for more!

Yours,

Radek.

Some runs, some tricks.

Post by brianbear »

yes, it's a dyno, and no stepping in that trick, just a pendulous motion, which i have hit multiple times now. i can almost do a stepulous dyno, though, soo the locomotion might be there eventually.

october 22, 2008. not a great session today, but i feel like a couple new concepts are working their way into my game. and the first trick felt good.
and i think a very clean pendulous butterfly rake. got my webcam working again, soo now i just have to get the lighting under control. enjoy!
