Victoria Shred - September 6th - 7th

Hello.

Dylan Fry and I are hosting a rather impromptu gathering in Victoria, on Vancouver Island (Coast Salish Territory) BC on the weekend of September 6th-7th. We know that this is super-short notice, but we figured 'better late than never'.

We have some confirmation from Justin Dale that he'll be making the trip with a few peeps, and Jeff Lopes and Eliot Piltz have said they'll be on the ferry over from the mainland.

I don't think we plan on doing any actual competition, but if there's demand for it . . .

aaw, man

if i had know about this i bit earlier i would have been there, no question. one week just isn't enough time for me to get my stuff in order. hope you guys have a great jam!

Im in for both days. Is there any information on times we are kicking?

I would prefer to take Ferry Saturday morning if the shred is in the afternoon.

We should have circle comp?

I don't know if I can make it. One the one hand, I really want too, but its also my first weekend in residence and there is all this other shit going on that I might need to engage in :\

So, for right now..don't count on it, but I might make a spontaneous decision tomorrow or something ...

EDIT: I really want to go now!! Like, really really!! How would I get there? I don't have a phone, have no idea where to go/what to do and if I needed an advance ticket to something...I don't have it...

Sooo errr - lol...anyone want to help me out?

There is a bus that goes 98 B-Line to the Airport, then there is another bus that goes all the way to the ferry. You can walk onto a ferry for very cheap. Then (wait for it) there is yet another bus that takes you from the ferry in Schwartz Bay to Victoria.

You could do it all by foot, Ive done it before for like less than $30.
