will be there tonight at 7! even with thunderstorms or snow!
glad to shred today again with eric, tuan, daryl, max? andy?, benni? björn?? you can do it!
its so cool to see 10+years-players see hit all the stuff I can hardly do once soooo easily - like walking and breathing for them.
I hit whirl again and am improving on duckin. with lots of drills I hope I can connect for longer runs soon.
Hey guys.
Theoretically speaking, if I were to stay here in Munich and not go back home, would anybody have a lead for a job where I wouldn't have to speak German? I'm thinking ideally something like filing papers in an office setting. I would have to decide tomorrow as my flight is Saturday morning. It's possible, and I suppose something like a 10% likelihood, but more like 0% without a job lead (of course I would need to apply for a visa first). I will look briefly on the internet, but I figure you guys might have some ideas?
only thing that popps into my mind is http://www.inlingua-muenchen.de if you feel like becoming an english teacher. they take all sane persons and native speakers (both criterions met! ) and its good pay. you get 1 week training or sth and then you go. my american roomie does it, too... its not that hard, but of course: its teaching... depends on your personal intereset. but it might be more fun than shoving papers around.
As Toby suggested to me, I'd like to invite you all to a small BBQ with Caroline, Letizia and me, over here in Haar! What about
Saturday, September 20th?
Toby said he could bring a grill! Everybody could bring something to eat,
we could go to a large lawn near our flat and we could shred, talk and eat - and you could finally meet our dear daughter, Letizia!
Nothing too big, since we can't organize much, it would be just
a small get-together, starting around midday.
In case the weather should be bad we'd have to postpone it.
In other news, welcome to the club, Erik! It's wonderful to have you here! (I just hope I find some time to shred/meet people in the next weeks...)
really nice shred. I'm really happy to have Erik around for longer now and to have seen Bea again! as the stickers say: footbag munich is alive!
TOMORROW
sorry, guys. I can't make it, coz my buddy from spain will only arive ~noon, so it's all too packed. Maybe on Friday or weekend!! I talked to Daryl and we cancelled the whole Fröttmaninger See idea for tomorrow...
BJOERNS PARTY
thanks a lot for the invite, björn! love to come! but hmm, maybe the weekend before? I prolly wont make it 20th. m already booked.

thanks guys
ps: since so many of my friends live in munich now i will be there a couple of times from now on. i hit you up then, and expect you all to shred with me then!
EDIT: he will need the place from 15.10 the latest, till then he can stay at my friends palce!

I'm gonna solo on this nice outdoor court surface just outside my place. If anyone wants to join, it's a short street called Hanselmannstrasse, parallel to Riesenfeldstrasse (Petuelring stop on the U3). Hanselmannstrasse is, like, 3 blocks long. The court is at the northernmost point of the street where it dead-ends. I'm gonna play until, like, 7-ish probably (unless anyone shows up).
edit : If Toby can't come at the mentioned date, we'd have to postpone it-
he has the grill and he suggested it! What about the day after, the sunday??? Toby?
My plans are really up in the air right now and it's still possible that I may end up going back to Canada. If so I would be going back for just before the original weekend of Bjoern's BBQ for a certain Central Canada hacky jam. I gotta figure stuff out and see about my visa on Monday (they don't speak English!!) If the visa works out does anybody wanna lend me some clothes for the job interview?
We should pack in as many shred sessions just in case I don't stay longer term.
