Fallens are a good skate shoe that our comfy and can last awhile. I've had a pair that's lasted 3 years now, and that with skating for almost a year with them.

i recommend choosing the custom old skool, cause Im not a fan of the slip-ons...

I was looking into skate shoe companies, and not specific shoe designs. But I guess what you listed looked alright.

true, well, i really like the options they have for a custom shoe, but anyways, I have 3 or 4 pairs of vans, and they've all lasted me years, and they still look pretty sick, I have a pair of cheetah print and black low-tops, and theyre boss! All vans are pretty styley, so if your looking for a hot shoe, go with them, or Emericas... Those are good too...

i highly recommend fallens, i've had many pairs of them and they are extremely comfortable and long lasting
that said i also recommend Ipaths as another styley skate shoe company
ive had 2 pairs (different models) and they were extremely comfortable as well and would last for ever with even the roughest abuse

Vans ans Airwalks i trust in just simply for how long they have been making shoes . But when it comes to style and dependability/durability i trust in DC'S and Etnies theyve been making shoes for over ten years now and ive been skating for well over that . I actualy tranfered up from Vans and Airwalks to DC'S and Etnies . Great skate shoes , they take a beating , average price , decent styles . Besides those yeah i would go with Fallens as well . But im a stickler for buying what i know works . But ive heard Fallens are decent .

I only bought some Airwalks for there price . Its a shame to see them in a Payless Shoe store . Kind of a step backwards considering where they come from . But on the other side of the coin it does offer a familiar name at a lower cost . Why not , Powell Skateboards is doing the same thing with there boards nowadays as well . $30 bucks for a Powell board when all the other name brands ask for $60 & ^ a board . Pretty nice thing Mr. Powells doing .

i dont like fallens, because the material around the ankle hurts... Its like a really stiff leather, and it irratated the back of my ankles

that honestly depends on the model you buy, i recommend the patriots but im not sure if they are still in production

quantums, i've used these maybe twice ever. they feel so flimsy(compared to my lavers, which i got within a week of each other) i didnt want to use them while learning and ruin them so i switched back to my lavers

sry got to show off a bit :p finally 8 years after the nile carp lavers were sold in shops i got my collection of all colors via ebay. saw them back then when i first heard that lavers are best for freestyle footbag... but didnt get into really training freestyle up until the last few months... anyway to me the most stylish shoe ever (=

I'm new to footbagging and decided i was interested enough to invest in some lavers. I have other hobbies that require modding, so modding shoes naturally caught my interest haha. I thought about other mods but they are probably overkill and unnecessary at my low skill level. Still trying to find a good lacing method though...

So far i've:
-Cut the toe box stitches
-removed the canvas from the toe and inside
-removed the original insole and replaced it with a better one. Also cut the part of the insole that it doesnt touch the inside mesh

STL, I've only used quantums a few times, but I definitely prefer lavers.

Haven't tried the 03's yet, though.

oh, why are lavers better? I heard that the toebox is good but are they lighter or something. btw does anyone have a good thread for lavers?
