Oh, add bubble tea to that list. Duh.
The closest thing to real bubble tea is right by the University (kinda far south of town, but where welcome night shred is always held
) They used to be open until, like, 2 in the morning on weekends too! (After shred bubble tea???) The one shop split up and turned into two rival shops: The Moment Bubble Tea in the Pembina mall (just south of the bridge over Bishop Grandin), and the second is Global Bubble Tea which is, like, 4 blocks away, just north of the bridge and in the same strip mall as the Value Village. The Moment is more consistent in their tea-making skillz, but Global is hip with tons of free magazines, big screen plasma TV, and both have free internet terminals. (The Moment has PS2...) (Global has wireless Xbox 360..) (both free).
There is also a Vietnamese restaurant in Osborne Village (near the community centre) that serves pretty good real fruit bubble tea, called Vianne (or something like that). It is RIGHT beside the Movie Village and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Do they sell t-shirts with just the 7-eleven logo on it?
I think Todexon made a play on a 7-eleven t-shirt, but I feel the urge to get the real thing.
Oh yeah, here's my updated itinerary (due to schedule changes):
Arriving Fri. Sept. 19
United 6775 / 12:10pm
Returning Mon. Sept. 22
United 5808 / 6:56am
edit: schedule

Oh man. This just took me an hour!
Here is a map with all of that STUFF marked:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 33f7dfcd83
There's also a Burger King just across from the community centre, where we usually grab a quick bite. Or a whole bunch of places a few minutes walk down the street, including a Subway and then actual restaurants.
People may want access to bank machines too. There is probably one at the Quality Inn. And hopefully we will be able to get you to one otherwise. 7-11s usually have ATMs. The one by my house (marked) does.

This may be a stretch, but is there an HSBC Canada Bank or ATM around Winnipeg?
