I went through my mp3 files and listened to a whole bunch of songs and riffs that I made up as I was learning to play guitar. Although a majority of them sucked, some of them were actually pretty good, so I'm deciding to just modify/rewrite them instead of working on new stuff. Fun. If you haven't already, add me:

More songs up soon (when I finish writing them).

The song I have up there is ok, but I'm probably going to rerecord it and get rid of that tacky ending.

I wish people would shut the fuck up when I'm fucking playing. I don't go outside or downstairs to play footbag so that my parents can start yelling at me about things that frustrate the shit out of me. I shred to get away from that stuff, and shredding is frustrating enough on its own. I'm sick of my sessions being fucked up because people can't shut their fucking mouths about me for 2 hours. God damn it, I don't fucking bother them like that EVER.

I got some like 140 toe kicks or something today. I'm not sure if that's the exact number, and I don't want to go check. After todays session the top of my ankle kind of hurt. I don't know why, but I hope it goes away.

I don't like my job. It's not that I hate the work or I hate money, but I feel like there's really one more year of freedom before the world rapes me of my youth, and I don't feel like wasting it doing 4 hour a day shifts bagging groceries. Plus, I'm still a full time student that's not only doing 8 hours of school a day, but then going to work and putting in more time and probably not having time to finish homework. Whatever. I think I'll only work there for a couple months, just to get some moneyz.

I got the school to read the announcement I wrote for the footbag club I made :D Although, they edited like half of it, because they probably don't appreciate my sarcasm as much as I do. Oh well. Thus far we only have three members, but word hasn't really gotten out. So that'll be a fun thing to do every Thursday. I don't really have any more to say about that.

I worked on clippers and atws and a little bit of osis today. My left side (right leg) seems to be rubbing against my support leg, so I'm trying to get rid of that. And I never really drilled atws all that much before, and I really don't have enough balance to do a good amount of atws on my flipside, so I've been working that. Toe kicks are becoming easier, too. Oh, and at the end of my session I hit flip legbeater and tap bs. I swear, I did like a million atomics tonight. They were never really that fun to try and do, but once I got the hang of them tonight I felt like I couldn't stop, except I needed to because I was playing at like 11 and I need to sleep. So yeah, tonight was fun. I think I might make a habit of late-night sessions, because of work and school and shit.

Anyways, I borrowed my friend Jake's lavers for the weekend, and for some reason lavers really hurt my legs. I really don't know why, but before I thought that it was because my lavers were too big on me; now I'm wearing the right size. So after playing for like half an hour, they made the bones in my legs feel hollow, which is a strange but accurate description of the pain I was experiencing. Infact, that's the closest I can get to describing it, it just hurts. It only hurts when I'm playing, never any other time, and I tested this because as soon as my legs started hurting I switched to g-units and the pain stopped. Do I need better insoles (I'm using dr. scholls) or are lavers just not a good shoe for the physically active? I don't think it's the last one, because of how many people use lavers to play in, but for some reason they just hurt. I've been searching everywhere online to at least see if a problem like this has been heard of, but I've got nothing. I think I'll see a doctor about it, because I've really been wanting to go back to lavers.

Going out on a limb, but it could be the strength of your shin muscles. If g-units leave you pain-free, stick with them.

How about a new video soon? :)

I've been planning on a new video soon. Once things get a little less hectic though.

I'm going to go ahead and say that size 13 lavers are too big, and that I was right the first time. If I get a new pair of lavers, they're going to be 12 1/2s. I feel like I have just a small bit of room that I could do without, and I really think that could be the source. I'm pretty sure my shins aren't the problem, seeing as I've only had shin splints once, and I've been working out my legs a lot. So I'll still use g-units for the time being, and switch to lavers when I find out what size I really need.

None of this would be a problem if shoe companies were more consistent with other shoe companies. Damn, I wear like a size 12 converse, a size 13 g-unit, size 14 dress shoes, a size 12.5 laver now (I'm guessing.) They really do need to find a more accurate way to measure feet, because this is a pain in the ass.

I just put two pairs of insoles in my friend's lavers, meaning I can probably go a half size down. It's a good thing I decided to borrow them instead of just go out and buy 13s.

Oh, by hurt legs I automatically assumed shin splints. My bad.

It happens.

Thursday I hit 53 tiltless, which is a new record for me that I forgot to mention.

I had a pretty cool session today:
 69 legover>ss legover>rpt contacts
 38 legover>out-in atw>rpt contacts
 32 out-in atws bs
 110 atw out-in>op toe stall>rpt contacts
 better atomic set, as well as an improvement in my stepping set.

I think I killed my hip yesterday. My outer thigh feels like I pulled a muscle, big time. I was doing basically the same stuff as the day before, but the opposite direction (pickup direction.) I don't remember everything, but I think I got like 150 atw>op toe>rpt contacts or something. I just want to blow tiltless out of the water right now, and have absolutely no doubts about any easy tricks.

My new lavers came in the mail today. That was really friggen fast. God, I love Zappos. They fit perfectly. Snug enough to the point where they allow for enough room, but I'm not moving around inside them. They're so beautiful though; it really is a shame I have to cut them up. I'm so used to seeing beaten up/modified lavers that it's almost like I don't even know what they're supposed to look like.
