Thats a really long string of tournaments, an amazing history.
(And Vince Bradley has been largely responsible for, like, half of those. No wonder he's HALL OF FAME [just one reason among many, actually])

Updates:

1. It looks like we have a hotel. Details aren't fixed yet, but expect the rate to be around $110 a night, and plan on making reservations before September 12th to get the rate. I'll post the official info when I have it.

So i live in Georgia and i've never been to a tournament, but i was wondering, is there a registration cost for the tournament? If so, how much?

The event is now IFPA sanctioned.

We're looking at fees in the ballpark of:

Novice: $10
Intermediate: $30
Open: $50

If you register in Open, that also covers events at lower levels. So for example, if you register in Open for any event (say, routines), that also covers you for intermediate singles net, etc. If you register in Intermediate, you can compete in all intermediate and novice events, etc.

Stephanos: If you have never been to a tournament, your first priority should be to get to one, no matter what. I don't know what your skill level is, so I don't know if you'd want to compete novice or intermediate. You can also just come, hang out with everybody and play for fun. Competition really is a minor part of these things, but competing can be fun and give you experience. Plus, you get a t-shirt and a chance at prizes.

I really want to go to this tournament, but I doubt my last semester of college will be forgiving on me.

Plus, with the residual afterburn of Hackrifice 10 and making up my missed assignments, I doubt I can make it to this tournament comfortably.

Sorry guys, but I did give Drew Martin my prize bag submission for this tournament, so you should all expect it.
