Sorry Matt, when I told you I hit fog it was actually bed wetter. I am so bad with names. I never thought that would apply to footbag as well.
As for my back, I am still a bit stiff so no shred for me tomorrow. I am going to try my best to recover this week. I miss footbag so much.
Peace.

Mike, sorry to hear that your back is still sore, it seemed as though your game was just stepping up another level too. I'm sure you'll be back at it full force very soon. I even hit flip eggbeater for the first time in honor of you since your out of commission for a little while.
I also hit flip swirl for the first time in honor of Matt Cross because, well cuz he's Matt Cross... and I've been wanting to learn flip swirl for a while now.
(I also managed symple swirl and its far variation bs)
And I even hit pixie merlin for the first time in honor of Ian's fairy merlin because I gotta balance out his fairies with my pixies.
All in all I'd say it was a good session for breaking in the new dorm room.
Peace

Matt,
When I texted you a few weeks writing I hit fog, I really meant bed wetter. I had the move name wrong.
Peace.

Mike I'm so happy that you can bust bedwetter. I mean like Doug I'm not that surprised but I know how stepping was for you and it's awesome you overcame that.
I almost always have to work friday-sunday but if there's ever a change where you guys can play some times during the week or at least odd hours of the weekends please PM me. I'd really like to play with you guys this fall.

Paul,
I was out of town Sunday. If you did call I do not know why my phone did not receive it. Anyway, I am back to playing at about 90%. I still have soreness in my back but it is slowly going away and footbag does not seem to make it worse. I played a little at home last night and did fairly well. I can play this week Tuesday or Wednesday night. Let me know if any of you are interested.

Hello Rochester!
Sorry I haven't been out in a while. I haven't played much since funtastik, only once in short shorts, and a few times casual kicking. I've been stitching more the past few days, however, and the bags I'm making are sweet. I've switched back to a 3 stitch style, but I've got a new way of running my needle through the fabric. It makes for very fast stitching.
Would have been great to have more of you at funtastik, hopefully we can represent well next year. It was great being the hotshot player on saturday afternoon, though! Cleaver and Flash weren't playing, and me and schneider were rocking out with waylon. I hit some good strings, some longer, some with bigger tricks, and a couple one-shot wonders (like zulu superfly, witnessed by jon from the front, peter from the back).
There was a serious freestyler deficit at that tournament, and I hope it's not that case next year.
I just hope we can all play soon! I miss you guys. Please post some session updates in the blog, not just session plans!

Nice post Matt. I am glad you had a good time at Funtastiks and got to show off your skills. Zulu superfly? Nasty!
Paul and I had a nice session yesterday at RIT. Paul's string length is lengthening greatly, and he is hitting stepping sets out of almost everything. His bike riding has certainly been paying off. As for me, I had a few decent strings and was pretty happy with some of the little combos I hit.
I just got a message from Bill Warner today. He tells me he is still in the game and back in Syracuse. I sent him a link to this topic and asked him to post and keep watch. Maybe we will see him next Sunday.
Peace.

Bill Warner!?!? Wow! I was just eyeing his AIM name the other day. it's a footbag IM name, so I was wondering if he still plays. that answers that question!
I hope he can make it out.
Yeah, zulu superfly made me feel so awesome. I would have never thought to try it, or that I could do it, but peter was watching and I was playing with jon, and that is real inspiration to me, and I got it second try! SO gratifying.
SOOOO gratifying
Then, I got it on video. a kid named Jordan posted a funtastik shred video in videos, it's on the end of that if you want to check it.
I hope he can make it out.
