Thanks for the concern Chris! I think I'm gonna limit myself to a session a week. Except for this week :roll:

Highlight's;
Infinity Swirl > Pdx Blender > Pdx Egg
Blender > Dyno > Dyno > Blender
Flip Dod, took awhile to get use too. Hit a couple really deep one's!
Dod Bsos'd
Footed flip Flurry! For some reason my flip barraging is really good!
Had an awkward look at Bs Jani on flip, interesting.
Pdx Whirl b2b > Barfly b2b

That's it!

Later...

Had a session last night with the Crew! Mike, Blake, Conrad and myself. It felt great kicking with the crew again. It's been forever! Lot's of joking, smack talk, air guitar and overall BS!

Highlight's;
Dlo > Ss Dlo rpt > run
Barroque > run
Barrage > Paradon > Barfly > Barrage > Paradon > Bar drop. Damnit :evil:
Food x3, first Beast!! Besides for it not being unique, but I don't care!
Motion bsos
Footed Leviathon!
Lot's of good shuffle stuff!
Rubberman first try
Dive > Duck rpt > Duck > Duck > Duck > Duck > Drop to Props from a lady watching
Swirl > Rev Swirl > Swirl > Swirl > Swirl > Swirl > Rev Swirl > Rev Swirl > Swirl > Rev Swirl > run
What?!?! First try
Lot's of Symple Swirls and Rev Swirls
Footed Pdx Torque b2b, with the best feeling Flip Pdx Torque ever! Each time I tried.
Quite a few Drifter's throughout the session.
A run for a camera, with dyno > blender > blender > dyno mid-run plus a lot of other stuff
Lot's of shuffle and harder stuff for the couple of people that asked to record or take pics
Twirl bs
Last run of the night; Step Clip > Blurry Clip rpt > Side > Rip rpt > Rip b2b > a couple more contacts, ended on a failed attempt at drifter
Blackula and Superfly in the same run

Overall a GREAT night!! I'm super sore right now!! But I'm loving it!

Peace!!

Just had a session! It was ok. My legs finally felt good enough to atleast try stuff.

Highlight's;
Dimwalk > Dyno > Stepping Mirage rpt
Fairybeater bsos
Toe Barrage and Barrage bsos same run
Strong Pdx Barrage a couple of times.
Worked flip Pdx Barrage, really weird
Whirl War 1
Symp Mirage > Ss Symp Mirage rpt for 7 contacts
Ss Flail, might be new
Worked on Whirr's. Footed Flip for the first time. Footed strong almost everytime I tried it.
Worked on Flip Dod. Never hit it, but I have kinda figured out where I need to set it.

Worked on barraging/furious. I don't think my legs are fully ready to try working these just yet. On both sides I kept rushing it. These sets will be once a week kind of drilling. I should definately make a vid of it and send it to Jorden, David and Jim to see if I can get some pointer's.

That's all for the session. When the video get's done rendering, I'll have a video of some freakish weather here in Az. So stay tuned.

Here's that video that I promised last night. Yesterday we had a slight hail storm here in Phoenix Az. And I happened to get 2 min's of it on tape.

In other news. I've figured some things that I would like to slowly work out of my game. I would like to slowly get rid of Pdx Mirages and replace them with Pdx Illusion's. Also, I would like to start eliminating Osis and replace them with Dyno's and Blender's. It might be a bit to ask right now, but once I am able to start playing 2-3 times a week again, those are a couple of things that I'm gonna start working on.

Had an extremely short session today. It was challenging because for some reason I have no stamina! So that first run with all the Butter's, Osii and Pdx Illusion's wass my longest run.

Highlight's;
20+ contacts of Butterfly, Osis and Pdx Illusion, all mixed up
Toe Symple Swirl > Pdx Illusion rpt
Pdx Whirl x6
Had an ok look at flip Tomahawk
Footed strong Tomahawk
Double down's were off
Whirl > Swirl bs
Tried to hit Whirl > Swirl > Dyno Rpt, couldn't hit a Dyno to save my life
Illusion's felt extremely strong today, both reg and pdx

That's all. I'm gonna try again on tuesday. But now I need to cool down, and get ready to do that test for the 100 push up challenge thing.

Peace..

Thanks Ken! When you comin' back to Az for a visit?

Had 2 sessions today. The first was very short and un-fulfilling. Did hit 1 kool link bs;

Torque > Barrage

The 2nd session was better than the first 10 fold. When I was putting my shoes on I totally shredded on of my laces. I stripped it down to the individual strands.

Highlight's;
Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno bs
Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno > Torque > Drop on Barrage. It felt really controlled
Flip Torque got the workout that it's been deserving. I think it's finally starting to catch up some to strong.
Toe Blur > Leg > Blur > Atom > Drop times 2, I don't know why I haven't hit half-man yet
Pixie Paradon, new 3 dex! Don't know how often I'll throw it in runs though
Tapping Double Down, new 3 dex! To short run ending on Fusion!
Footed Fear > Flog
Footed Smog
Paradon > Rev Up > Symp Whirl, dropped on the Symp Whirl
Footed Rev Up > Toe Barrage, so close

That's all. I'm really impressed with all the work I did on flip torque. Hopefully if I work it like I did tonight, every other session it'll be as good as strong in no time. With this training, I also got some good work on my flip clipper in regards to setting and set height.

On another note. I started that 100 push-ups drill thing, that Ben Skaggs mentioned in his blog. Though I haven't actually started, I did the initial test and I know what I need to do on the days that I do it. I'm going to wait till monday to actually start, cause monday, wednesday and friday are the ideal days to do it.

I'm tired, I'm hot and I'm sweaty. I'm gonna kool down, and relax for a lil bit before I go to bed.

Later's my footbagging family

That's cool that you're aiming to replace your pdx mirages with pdx illusions. I made a decision to do that a while back and it was pretty cool. Really I wanted to eliminate most of the mirage-ending moves (like smear, blur, toe blur, pdx mirage) and switch to illusions. I got pretty good at it, and then got injured and the illusions faded a bit. But it really did wonders for expanding my game. It kinda helped me with on the fly downtime freestyle, being able to pick and choose a little better. Plus I enjoy illusions a lot more as far as the way the move feels when executed. Anyway, kind of a rant but I just thought it was interesting to see someone else with that mindset.

Awesome video with that killer rainbow and the abshire mini-sized hail! :lol:

@Chris, yeah it was a killer rainbow!

Kicked today. Just about an hour. It was ok. My legs never really got into it, but I still did well.

Highlight's;
Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno bs
Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno > Torque > Barrage > Drop on Paradon, starting on both sides! So close damnit!
Barfly > Pdx Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Barfly > Run
2 ok looks at Pdx Whirling Swirl bs
Paradon > Rev Up > Barrage > Toe Whirl
65 Osii
An ok look at Blurrier
An ok look at Flip Blurriest
Blackula > Stepping anything, came close
Dolomite, might be new, don't remember

That's it. Now I get to rest and relax. Later.....

Today was my first day of the 100 push ups! According to the first week page, if you (I) did more than 20 on the initial test to start on week 3 in either column 2 or 3 depending on where you placed. So I ended up starting on week 3, in column 3. 86 total pushups tonight! Talk about a workout! The max out at the end was brutal! But that's what I like! Both of my arms feel like they weigh 40 pounds, but it's a great feeling! I can't wait till wednesday's workout!

Kicked today. Needed something to relieve all this shit that's happening.

Highlight's;

1 min of clippers
Illusion > Ss Illusion rpt > Mirage > Ss Mirage rpt > Clip > Bubba > Clip > Near Mirage > Clip > Pdx Mirage > Ss Clip > Pdx Illusion > Ss Clip > Near Pickup > Clip > Near Pickup > Lo > Lo
Whirl > Swirl > Dyno rpt > Run with Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno

I worked on tightening up my illusions that involve sets. Primarily Stepping and Atomic. My Blizzards are looking good! My Omelletes need a lot of work. I footed bs quite a few times. I also tried for Rubberman with nothing but Illusions. Couldn't get past Omellete on bs. Guess that mean's that I need to work them!

Played again. Good stuff happened.

Highlight's;
Blurrier, finally! New 3 dex!
Flip DDD, yay!
Footed Flip Blurrier! Flip is my strong stepping weak ddd!
Paradon and Barfly Bsos, with footing DDD bsos
Torque > Barrage > Paradon > Dyno rpt!!! First try!!
Fog Bs, flip might be new!
Tried to do a run with as many of my 3 dex tricks as possible. Fog > Osis > Infinity > Pdx Mirage > Butter > Blurriest > Dyno > Ss Butter > Infinity > Pdx Mirage > Drop on Fusion

That's all. I'm dead tired now. Gonna relax a lil before I start working on stuff for class again.

Laters my footbag family!

Had a session after I did set 3 of the 100 push ups for this week. Session was good! Double Downs seemed to be ON! Which is sweet!

Highlight's;

Double Pickup (clip), Blur, Stepping Mirage and paradon all BSOS in the same string
Blurrier BSOS with one Blurriest
Flip Blurrier, YAY!!
Blurriest BSOS, fotted Blurry Whirl BSOS in the same run
Flip Blurriest, HELLZ YA!!!!
Flip Tripwalk, might've been a lttle thin, but who cares!
Paradon > DDD > Dbl Pickup Bs
Paradon > DDD > Dbl Pickup > Paradon > DDD > Drop on Dbl Pickup
Paradon > DDD > Dbl Pickup > Paradon > Drop on DDD
Torque x2 on Flip!

That's all. Doing set 3 of the push ups took a lot of energy, hence my half hour session.

Had a lot of energy today. Besides for my lower abdomen being tight again, I played pretty well. Still got winded pretty fast. Hmm.

Toe Whirl > Whirl > Blender Bs with Ripwalk, Blur, Stepping Clip and Stepping Mirage BSOS
Barrage Bsos with one Pdx Barrage, Dropped on Bsos'in the combo of Gyro Clip > Rev Swirl
Flip Pixie Paradon
Fairy Paradon Bs! Both new!
25+ Contacts of Butter, Osis and Pdx Illusion all mixed up
Pdx Whirl > DDD BS with Dropping on Toe set Ss Symp Whirl, flip would've been new
Blurry Whirl > Blurrier > Dyno > Run
Flip Blurry Whirl > Flip Blurrier, footed
Spin Motion > Ps Whirl > Scorps off my foot
Barfly > Barrage > Paradon > Barfly > Barrage > Paradon off my foot
Paradon > DDD > Dbl. Pickup > Paradon > DDD > Dbl. Pickup off my foot
Decent looks at Alpine Scorp, Spin Duck Whirl and Duck Motion
My Unique Beast that I'm trying, Automotion > Food > Loco. Best I've done was the Auto > Food, I didn't know I hit Food till the bag was already in the air

Another productive session. Lot's of bsos'ing, which I like. Longer runs. Need to learn how to breath better during my runs. Longest run had to be in the 20's.

Anyone have any tips on breathing?

My last session was on Monday I think. It was a live session. Hit some good stuff. Fairy Ss Symp Swirl BSOS, finally hit Flip Rev Tomahawk. There was some other stuff, but I don't remember it.

Had a session today. It was good. Check it out!

Highlight's;

Mirage > Ss Mirage rpt > Illusion > Ss Illusion rpt > Clip > Near Mirage > Clip > Bubba > Ss Clip > Near Mirage > Clip > Bubba > Ss Clip > Pdx Mirage > Ss Clip > Pdx Illusion > Clip > Pdx Mirage > Ss Clip > Pdx Illusion, Warm-up/opening run
Side > Stepping Clip > Rip rpt > Stepping Clip > Blurry Clip rpt > Side > Rip rpt > Stepping Clip > Rip
Ss Butter Swirl > Run with bsos Rips and Dynos with one Infinity Swirl, dropped on Flip Ss Butter Swirl
Tripwalk > Rip > Blur Bs
Trip > Rip > Blur rpt
Whirr > Run
Footed Double Blender
So damn close to Plastic Man!
Footed Flip Jani!
Had an ok look at Strong Jani
Footed Paradon Swirl Bs
*EDIT* I guess I wasn't done just yet!
Blurry Whirl > Stepping Whirl > Run, Couldn't hit Flip Blurry Whirl to get a good chance at that combo on flip
Pdx Blender > Blender rpt, Hell yes! *END EDIT*

Damnit, plastic man is kicking my ass! I've footed it quite a few times, but I can't seal it! It's driving me mad! My next session I'm going to work Flip Barfly some more. It was inconsistent today, but if I started with it, it was fine. Onto better news. My flip Quantum set is looking good! I hit flip Trip quite a few times, plus I hit that drill! I was even able to hit it out of Pdx Mirage twice. It was weird, I didn't really do any downtime components except Double Downs.

*EXTREME EDIT*
PLASTIC MAN!!!!!

Finally. I decided that I'd try one last time before I took my shoes off. It ended up being 4 tries, but with all of them, except the last attempt, I was missing the last trick. Then it just happened, so nice and easy. It flowed beautifully. None of the tricks seemed rushed, and the execution felt great on them all. What a great feeling to hit something that has been evading you!

Had a session today. I had a bunch of energy today, and why I don't know. But I needed this, and it helped.

Highlight's;
Rev Swirl > Swirl bsos
GYBAS bsos with one Food and footed Flip Food
Trip bsos > footing Leg bsos
Clip Dlo > Ss Dlo > Paradon bs
Smear > Plo rpt > small run
Trip > Rip > Step Mirage > Tapdown > Blur > Leg > Rip > Whirl > Blender > Whirl drop
Trip > Rip > Step Mirage > Tapdown > Blur drop, starting on flip
Side > Blur > Tap > Atom > Tap > Leg > Side, I was losing balance and wasn't able to hit the last 2 tricks!

My flip Quantum is slowly coming around. It took awhile before it finally started working today. Double's seemed iffy today. It was kool that I was able to foot flip Food when I was trying to sauce it. I haven't hit it before, but I alway's get the best looks at it mid-run. When I try it as a single trick, or at the beginning of a run I can't even get close! Interesting. That last run felt so good. I've tried that once before, but only got the first half of it. So when I got that far I was like 8O . I also felt the same way with that genuine run up there. It was really flowing, and nothing seemed rushed.

I think I'm goin to try to do a 10+ genuine contact run each session. I'm slowly getting back into shape, and I think I could do 10 contacts pretty easily.

Later my Footbag Family!

Mike dude! What'd you do man? You don't need to go around impressing your woman by lifting heavy things :wink: Get better dude, we need to kick again!

School's going good! I'm now at the University of Phoenix working towards my Bachelor's in Information Technology. So far it's been pretty good, and I'm liking it!

No work as of yet. I have an application for my elementary school district, in the IT dept. But I'm going to wait till Jan. to submit it.

Had a session today. Recorded all 1.5 hours of it! Had some good highlight's. and some cool linkage! I'm gonna go put a vid together of it, and share it with the community!

I also worked on barraging/furious. My flip clipper set, for barraging/furious, is a shitload better than my strong clipper set, for barraging/furious. I know that I was getting close, that if I cleared any of the sets I was going to be able to hit things out of it. Luckily all of it's on tape, so I'm going to send it to a souple of guys asking for some advice on it. I also got a couple of attempts on my "flip" side too. We shall see.

Time to go edit the vid. Expect another post soon, one in here and one in the vids thread.

Peace!

Had a fun session today. Hit's lot's of stuff for the cam, but also didn't hit some stuff that I wanted to for the cam.

Critiques are welcome! Comments are welcome! I hope you enjoy!
