The project didn't load correctly because I'm still rockin' 6.0 and I don't think it's possible for me run two versions at once. I want to upgrade but I really do not want to lose my current projects or not be able to finish them or anything.

I figure something out.

Save the .flps and packs and whatnot somewhere else, load 7.0, and then place the folders under patches>packs>wherever

Whoa! Something pretty crazy just happened.

I'm part of a sound project website and pm'd a member whose username is the same as a musician I listen to a lot... 'offthesky'. I asked him if he ever listens to that band, and got back a message stating:

"hey kevin, actually i am that band! ;]"

Thanks Manna.

Played today. was going to film for the hack-off but couldn't string. struggled with butter>pdx mirage>rpt.

Managed 2 new tricks and a new link though:
-clipper frontside blender *really weird footing*
-fairy rev swirling set *just left that clipper out and played it*
-jani>blurry voodoo

She dumped you? That sucks man, I feel for you. Don't worry though, BRAH, I know you will start looking up soon. Hey, you are way better at footbag than me, that's something right? Double down swirls are easy.

To be honest, I've been in the same situation for about .... 2 years? Not in my parents basement, but basically, no motivation to do anything and not having a job. But I've learned a lot about myself, the world and how "IT" all works. Fuck it, you deserve it man, you were in school for 16 years straight. Use your time wisely if you are going to "waste" it though. Read about something, learn a new activity, specialize on a subject. It's funny that in our society, if people hear that you don't have a job, they assume you suck. When in reality, it gives you time to actually live life, freely, and learn things that other people don't have time for. This is just how I look at it though.

Anyways, sorry for the rant. What I'm saying is, do what you gotta do and you will always be good. If you ever need help or a dick to suck on, I'm there BRAH.

Played with the MFA on campus today. Started out getting pumped up in my bedroom listening to Justice and was playing great.

started barefoot and hit pixie ss illusionx6 which is a new personal best. also hit pigbeater>frantic legover, a new rewind combo. then put on my shoes and hit void bs first try, vortex bsos first try, smoke bs first try, and blurry drifter bsos first try. Also hit gyro whirling swirl first try for the first time. Then went to the session all pumped up and had no more oomph. hit some cool stuff though. mostly tiltless and bops.

pdx torque has gotten really consistent on one side. Can now throw it up without much height and still get it. The other side has gone to hell though and it's really hard now.

Also had a cute girl bike by yelling "sexy boy in shorts!" three times consecutively at me, which was cool

other hilights:
-lots of styley tiltless runs and bop runs
-gyro osis>spin osis>gyro osis>spin osis>pdx torque>pdx blender>infinity>pdx blender
-lots of bsos taps and rubbermans
-near switch>opp symp whirl>spin eggbeater midstring
-run with ripped warrior, tomahawk, and marius

Thanks James. I can't figure out what to do with this synth line, so I'll upload it to savefile for you to mess with sometime soon.

Just got done with that job interview. It's between 4 people and I was one nervous nelly. It was in front of the entire school of education committee which are some of the biggest honchos on campus. We'll see.

want to get some funk samples and make some astral beats

Jammed pretty much all day yesterday with Droan. It was fun.

Tinkered around for a couple minutes barefoot and footed enterrage with the first two dexes reversed and cleared a hippy warped set.

messed around barefoot today. Barefoot's pretty much the only footbag I do nowadays. I love how light they are. If I could do inside delays barefoot, I'd never wear shoes. It's cheap as hell, but fun. Footed two new barefoot tricks today. have no idea how: fairy triple swirl, and phasing ss swirling osis.
