Closing the footbag

Post by midnightmetallic32 »

hi this im my first post on modified and i hope this isnt to"noob" of a question.

I started stitching footbags about 4 days ago and i currently made a 4,8,and 32 panel footbag. Each one suprisingly came out decent. But when it comes to closing the final panel i cant seem to close the footbag so it looks like the rest of the footbag.

If anyone has any advice on closing it or a video it would be greatly appreciated. :D

P.S. I've looked all around this forum and havent found any topics regarding this question. If there is one sry for wasting a post. Thanks.

I am slightly confused about this also, when it comes to a 32 panel.

that is one way.

my way is to stitch the last edge BEFORE flipping the bag right side out. I leave loose loops of thread hanging on either side of the facile, so that I can still pull the facile apart AFTER it's been stitched, flip the bag, fill it, and THEN tighten the stitches on the last edge.

also, that thread I quoted above was taken out of the "making bags: instructions / tutourials" thread.

I read that thread from the start for less than 4 minutes before I found a picture tutorial on how to do what you want.

Always look through the thread about instructions and tutorials for bag making before asking a bag making question.

welcome to modified. post pics of those bags.
