Go Lise!

Also, hello and good day, Asmus. :-)

Edit: Top of page, so here's a picture. You had a link to Oysterface. I just read The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy.

Robot Boy has issues with his mother:

"He never forgave her unholy alliance,
a sexual encounter with a kitchen appliance."
"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

1 week break from modified. Starts now.

I might check "the big move to .org"-thread and the "video"- category though (and PMs).

1 week modified break suspended. Didn't have the intended effect.
I need to take a one week break from the internet instead.

Here are some photos from Idas phone from worlds:
Asmus wrote:One night I borrowed this sexy pink top from Lises siter Anne because my t-shirt was all sweaty.
Later at the party I saw Dexter kissing with a girl and took off my shirt and danced sexily around them.
The girl ran away but Dexter kept on dancing with me. It was so hillarious.
Anne wrote:Hope you take good care of that pink top. You look fabulous in it!!! (especially when he puts in little footbags... then he just looks like a little pre-teenage girl!!!)
Jeremy wrote:We need pics of you in your pink shirt ;)
mosher wrote:Also, I probably woulda flirted with you in that pink shirt with footbag boobies.
So here you are peoples...

Asmus wrote:We lived next to a big 24 hour supermarket. I never seen one of these but it was awesome.
Every night when you went home from a party you could buy your night snack (usually alot of shit) and breakfast for the next day.
How awesome is that?!
Also it's really funny to rave around in a supermarket at 5 in the morning piss drunk and high.
So here is a photo of me going candy crazy 5 in the morning:

This is a photo from one of the cooler clubs we partied at in prague.
Ida uses this photo as her background when she is pissed at me.

If I have to mention two artists that are currently moving up the ladders in the artworld that I think will be remembered in a 100 years.
It gotta be Anthony Lister and Josh Keyes.

Anthony Lister:

His paintings are about misguided youth especially from popular culture.
Lister is from Australia and have said "Australians are raised by Americans on TV".
http://www.anthonylister.com/

Josh Keyes:

In my opinion Josh Keyes is one of the few artists that can paint paintings reflecting over humans invasion in nature without being over sentimental or judgemental.
"My work often contains a hybridization of concepts and imagery that express global concerns about ecological, political, and militarism issues. I try to create work that fuses my personal mythology and imagery with these concerns. The result is a continuous and evolving pattern of fragmented imagery that slowly unfolds and folds like a patchwork quilt. The work functions for me as a record of both my personal history and interpretation of events in the world."
http://www.joshkeyes.net

The artists most important job is to reflect and comment on the current situation of the world.

I liked this run from today:
Pixie Muted Clipper > Ducking Clipper > Guay > Same Muted Mirage > Butterfly > Rev Whirl > Osis > Run with twirl and pixie stuff

The Mac I will 90% sure be getting:
Image
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
2 GB RAM
200 GB 5400 rpm
DVD±RW (±R DL)
15.4" TFT 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ )
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB
Mac OS Leopard with iLife '08

I've started reading the "Wanted" comic since I thought the movie was pretty good.
So far the comic is really awesome. The conversations are so hillariously well written.
Here is one of my favorite panels:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz

LISE IN DENMARK GOT TALENT!!

On friday I went to the newly build DR Byen in Copenhagen to see Lise Thygesen play footbag in the danish version of ".. Got Talent".
The day leading up to the show was super stressful for me and Ida.
Since wednesday we had been on a field trip with Geography Class and because of a really stupid busdriver we nearly missed the show.
We drove right to the door with a cab and footbaggers was reppin' already.
Mads Neuhard, Kim Mortensen, Anne Thygesen and Nis Petersen was there.
Aswell as Lises aunt and her son. They were cool.
I hadn't seen Mads Neuhard in like a year so it was cool to catch up with him again.

We went in and it was a really interesting experience.

Some thoughts.
- There was alot less audience than what you would think.
- You have to clap and shout 10 times as much as you actually feel like.
- The danish audience doesn't know what talent means.
- The danish showbiz world is just as superficial as anywhere else.
- Fluorescent and bigger bags is needed for the right representation of footbag.

Here is Lises show:

I think she did pretty good.
3 drops are too much but the judges didn't really mention it.

She didn't make it to the next round.
2 really good electric boogieish dancers did and a boy who danced to Michael Jackson.
He was pretty bad but only like 7 years old and cute.

After the show me and Ida went to Bankeråt with the rest of the footbaggers.
Bankeråt is a really cool café in Copenhagen.
Both Mads Neuhard and Mads Hole as well as Rasmus Rendsvig has or do still work there.
The place is filled with cool animals and other random objects (for example Mads Neuhards trophy when he won danish champs in 03).
Here are 2 photos I found on the internet:

We drank some beers and Lise came and we celebrated her.
After that we drank som Fernet Branca as we usually do in the danish footbag community.
Image
I got pretty drunk.
We took a train home and got to bed at around 6 in the morning.

HEJ IDA!
Du er den bedste.
JEG ELSKER DIG!

HEJ KFK-FOLK!
JEG VED I LÆSER DET HER!
Det var rigtig fedt at se jer alle igen. I er så rå.
Jeg glæder mig til at spille, hænge ud og feste med jer til DM.
FODPOSE!

Really close Marco.

It was only a half trophy and it was in excess. Mads Neuhard has his at home.

Tak Mads. Det er godt du altid kan være efter mig når jeg er uopmærksom. ;)
Har du fået min PM?

I played footbag today. It wasn't good.

I have done 3 new paintings/drawings.
They just need to get framed and you will see them.
New cool style.

Yeah it was a pretty cool evening! Can't wait till the Danish Camps where I'll have the honour of letting you crash!

I won't get around to practising anything, but hey... thats the way it goes!

You rock pretty much yourself too, you know. Mostly because you have such a sweet girl  Say hi to her..

Hello.

The clock is 22:14 Copenhagen time and I am sitting here where I always sit - staring at the computer screen. I need to get my shit together.

Nevermind.

I need to use less time on this evil machine.

I gonna post some thoughts on art soonish.

I invented some new danish words today. I'm not sure what they mean yet.

See you all.

I hit some new footbag stuff today:
Kneeberger > Batman
Inside > Spinning Clipper bs
Fairy Gyro Mirage

I made a plan about how I can get happier:
- Sleep more
- Only use the computer every second day
- Don't skip classes, do more homework
- Do atleast one thing everyday that makes me get closer to my goal of becoming an awesome artist

I had my first decent session in quantums today. Highlights:
- Run with Pixie Pickup bsos and Ducking Osis bsos
- Spinning Symp Rev Whirl > Run
- Punching myself in the face trying ripstein

Here is a new painting/drawing I did:
