It will help keep this thread (and modified, in general) uncluttered.

Reviews, however, are more than welcome. The more honest reviews, the better, positive or negative. ESPECIALLY the negative. You guys can help me get closer to making the best freestyle bag out there by letting me know where I fall short.

Thanks to everyone who's written a review so far. You rule.

The difference between the two-stitch bags and the three-stitch bags are as follows:

1. size - two-stitch bags are a bit bigger (I think, the right size for you).
2. feel - two-stitch bags are a little stiffer to start (because the thread is further from the edge of the panels, so there is more material on the inside of the bag). However, they are still very playable from the get-go, like my three-stitch bags.
3. appearance - the edges on two-stitch bags are not as straight as the edges on three-stitch bags. This is purely cosmetic
4. cost - two-stitch bags take less time, so I charge less.

Idk If I have used or owned enough bags to really be able to judge or review a bag, but I'll give it a shot.

Its small and heavy, which I'm a fan of. It seems like it has a good amount of gather for the size. Didn't take long to break in/ get to a point of good playability. It was actually playable for the most part since the beginning. The filler feels really nice when doing anything with the bag (if that makes sense).

Overall, its a goodie

okay so i have 3 matt cross bags and i have to say they rock so much. His two stitch bags are so good. Once they break in you cant beat em They are deffinetly a 5 out of 5. Go buy one NOW!!!!!!

At this point I think I'm pretty much just a shill, but whatever.

MC bags are better than other bags. I have four. Matt's bags are, for me, the perfect standard footbag; that is, if the IFPA were to develop an offical, standard freestyle footbag, I think it should be very similar in size and weight to an MC bag (well, maybe a bit less gather than the new ones, but just a bit).

Breaking bags in makes me want to quit footbag. It sucks. Especially because some stitchers' bags take forever to break in, or don't really break in at all until about a week before they start falling to pieces. None of the four MC bags I have had to be broken in at all. I had great first sessions with each one. This is a major selling point to me.

The weight is the other thing. I really don't like light bags. MC bags are nice and weighty.

These new bags are smaller than the old ones, more gather. I prefer a little less gather, but even Matt's smaller bags are very playable straight away. Like very playable. I did a two hour performance with one yesterday and even when I started getting tired and lazy, I didn't feel like the bag was rolling around excessively.

edit: If my tuition bills hadn't just punched me in the face, I would definitely buy one of those pink ones. Pink stuff makes you cooler.

#191 and #176 are $30. #170 saw a session or two from me, but I don't really like minis that much, so I'd let it go for $25, or $20 with the purchase of one of the others.

I can also take custom orders right now, I've got nothing on deck. I just bought new colors and new needles.

"standard" - slightly larger than a golf ball. Definitely not a mini... and it's definitely not a big flopper.
