i will do a hackrifice wirte up and writ e alittle bit more this weekend. ive been very busy/ busy being very lazy....but i will for sure write about hackrifcie 10 in a couple days from now.

FUCK YOU CHRIS! hahah jk i hope you have fun. i dont think i would buy tickets even if shawn was coming to Winterpeg to tell you the truth..... i dont see what soo special about buying ticket and you dont even get to meet the person. i guess seeing the person live but i dont know i gues it just dont cut it for this s.o.b. Have a awesome time though and tell me how it goes. if you think its really good and it dont matter if you dont get to meet the person i just might go if you think it was shitty i just wont go.... thats only if there coming to Winnipeg though. haha

Thanks for the 'Sporps'. im not really really injured. when it was hackrifice the infection kinda went away but it looked really nasty. i was still able to play though. i was able to play ALOT haha. usually when im hurting the pain goes away with a little bit of footbag haha. i havent played solo in 3 weeks now . the first week i took a break and only played once with andrew. the second week i had the infection and couldnt walk, but it went away for hackrifice. on tuesday the infection came back but its not as bad....im still able to play. i wanna have some solo sessions soon though. theres alot of stuff i was wanna try and links i wanna hit.



SHRED!!!!!!! Sept 27

Had some footbag with Hackrifice yesterday aka Erik, Derek and the one and only. not a very very good session for me. it was "Brick" weather as waylon would say. plus my hips were really tight. i couldnt torque or pdx torque. i hit fairy op blender first try and as i was gonna catch it i fell on my face and my hand, it coulda been worst though. i dont think Erik was playing his best either. he was trying new stuff and new links and they were alot different then what Erik usually does. its always a bad session if you try stuff you usually dont do. Derek aka "The old" Derek was back. Derek was busting huge. hes soo sick he like 20 matador b2b. maybe not 20 but somewhere in the 2 digit. about 30 mins into are shred a new player comes to shred with us. his name was Brandon Sing. he could stall both sides and kick, Erik sees potential but i dont know. i didnt see very much potenial in myself. its kinda hard to say if ppl will get good or not. not anless your young vasek. watching ppl learn how to kick a footbag is a little fusturating for me. then i remember when i was still a n00b and i had to learn how to kick it. now its pretty easy to keep it up. we also had little windsor battle. Erik windsored me on spinning difter or spinning pdx drifter or somthing like that, then Derek Regulates us both and i think he bsosed it. the next one Derek does was symp whirling swirl. he wasnt able to do it soo i hit it for him first try haha. that felt good beacause Derek is soo damn good, i think he wants to take footbag serious again... or maybe in another 2 years hahah(inside joke) . after shred me and Derek went to go get some pizza. the stanford crew got me in to pizza soo now i always get pizza after shred hehe. Erik had to bike to joels since there wasnt enough room for his bike. we all met up at joel and had some pizza and snacks. we watched dont mess with a zohan haaha. it was an okay movie. it could been soo much better if the had more footbag and more funny parts. ohh yeah while i was eating my pizza i opened up my rootbeet and it went all over the pizza. my pizza tasted like rootbeer after and it was softer. i kinda liked it heheh. but it wne t all over my shirt soo i had to let it dry and goo shirtless in joel "Brick Weather house". we watched some footbag videos. then talked about future and pass hackrfice stuff. i couldnt say much about the pass since i wasnt there haha. then we all went home.

HACKRIFICE 10 sept 19-23

Seriously the best weekend of my life. it could have not been better. i had the best time of my life.

sept 19

wake up go to school. i dont talk to anyone. i just want school to end. last period i dont even look at the teacher and just nod my head yes or no and doo some doodles... right when 3:30 hits i leave right away but my best friend steven tells me to wait since he only buses on fridays. sooo i had to wait for him. which is another 5 min wait. me and steven get of he goes his way i go mine. i get home at 4 then i get to the shred spot at 5:30 and everyone is there. i was really stoked about that. it was kinda wierd since i had to say hi to alot more ppls and ppl that i havent seen in a year. i jumped in to the circle right when i get there haha. i couldnt help myself, i had to play in my reebok voltrons though and my super tight denims . in the circle it was me, Erik Camille, and Jeff and Kevin? it was funn, even tohugh it was short. i hit ps whirl in walking shoes and tight jeans haha. after that. Erik drove us to apple bees, and in the car we all forgot that girls name. i still forget it to this day .
everyone went for dinner at applebee's. i really liked that part since we got to mingle with everyone. the only thing was we werent all that the same table, but everyone moved around and talked to everyone. Then we got to Eriks around 8ish and ppl showered of before more shred at the u of m. i think we got to the u of m at 9:30 iwe played till 12 in the morning then everyone got bubble tea which was nice after shred.. at the table i was at be played this game with pig, probably the second funnest game besides footbag. i ended up winning the first two games. i think it was me, Kevin, Erik, jeff and ?. everyone mingled abit more and had some bubble tea and went online. then i got home at 2 or 3 in the morning and passed out since i new the next day was comp..

sept 20

wake up at 8 shred eat breakfast do some browsing . then head to the river osborne community center. im the first one there as of freestylers. all the net players are already there and the local t.v ppl are there. i do some freestyle from them and then tells them to come back later on. 30 mins later the shredmonton boys roll in with Andrew and a hole bunch of snacks for the hole day. another 30 mins go by and the fat ppl show up with Erik and the other out of towners. we shred for an hour and the local t.v ppl come and film for alittle bit. after that the inter routines start. everyone did well and did there routine. i end up being last and doing my routine to some justice. then we all had a break and wait for the open prelims. when the prelims start i got to judge but it wasnt really fun since i dont really know what to give ppl. i kinda just copyed w.e Kevin had since he was head judge. we shred for abit more and Andrew ends up saying who won for inter and open prelims. for inter the winners were

im not sure about the open but i tihnk Rory was first for prelims. he had like one drop. after that i went out with Denton to go look around and went shopping for new gauges for my ears. once we got back we got ready to go back to Eriks soo that we could have dinner at Andrew's place. mhhhh pasta!!!!! Thanks Andrew's mommy and daddy. dinner was nice beacause , we got to hang out and ppl told funny stories about world 07 haha. Rory is the best story teller ever. Waylon told me some really funny one to hahahaha. i couldnt stop laughing. Waylon and Rory are soo funny. we also watched some dvds like Hackrifice 9 and where the ripwalk ends and i think hackrifice 04. i loved the hackrifice dvds. im not the biggest fan of were the ripwalk end. there is a better one than that. i just forget the name. after a nice dinner we headed out to the park theatre aka where finals night was being held. we got there at about 10ish and we sat down took some pics and chilled and waited to get in to the theatre. the theatre was amazing. it was straight out of heaven. everyone gots warmed up while we all ppl start coming in. then 20 min layer we are all asked to sit down. we end up watching the hackrifice 9 video. only the beginnning , but i wanted to watch it all. then the mc for the night aka Will gets Andrew to say a couple words and he says a couple words and in those words come up my name... ohh gezzz . Andrew called me up to do some trick demos. i didnt even know what was going on haha i didnt even have a footbag hahaha. but i did some kicks just to start of the demo. and all through the night me and Byrin did all the demos. there was also prizes packs and give aways going on. which was super cool. then came the intermediate finaly routine. again i was last to do my routine and i watched the other ppl go and then came me. . i did it to some bestie boys and everyone seemed to like it. all the other ppl did really well to. i had a couple drops which was okay. i dont think i hand more than the other inter players though. i was really nervous since my daddy was watching.after all that , it was time for the open ppl to compete. i dont remember much but Byrin won and yeah Byrin won haha. last but not least came the rippin run. i was stoked about that. first i had to go up against Andrew d and i won then i had to verse ?Jeff? and i won again and then came semi finals and i was against Johnny Suderman, one of my favorite players. he didnt lose yet and i was pretty damn scared since he is the MAN and guess what.... i ended up winning. i was pretty stocked about that and then i made it to finals. guess who im versing ???? the one and only ATG. its was pretty much student vs teacher in the finals. i dont think it gets anymore intense and epic than that (it kinda reminded my of rocky 5 haha). i was super scared since my style is pretty much based on w.e Andrew likes to do aka shuffle. but i stuck with alot of tiltlss and i end up losing and dropping on one of the easies tricks ever. ss mirage . i blinded and thought to myself. how could you drop on somthing that i should be able to get 10/10 times everytime. it was okay though i just dont like dropping on stuff that is just to easy for me. all the ppl that were watching left and the shredders stayed at the park theatre. we end up shredding till 2 in the morning. it was a awesome shred, i think one of my favorites of all time. i played okay not my best but just seeing everyone shred and having loud music was awesome. i was in the hardcore cirlce aka Jeff, Byrin and Johnny and they were all busting pretty huge especially Johnny and byrin. the floor was very slippery on my shoes soo it was kinda hard to play. i managed to hit tomawk and mullet all mid string in one run. i was pretty happy about that. after we were all done we went to a after party and Wills place and me and Camille have been talking about skateboarding at night when its hackrifice but Camille cant bring her long board. but what do you hahah we walk in to Wills and there were like 50 different skateboard haha. it was crazy. we watch some tapes and take and dance abit ane we end up skateboarding 4am in the morning. it only lasted like 15 mins till some old guy came out and told us to stop it. Rory was the first one to run back to wills place hahaahahaha. ohh Rory! soo we end up leaving and i dont think i got home till 6 am. i wwas really tired, but everything was worth it. i woke up at 10:00 am....


Sept 21


i get to the River osborne community center at 12 in the afternoon i end up being the first freesytler there agian. Byrin Rory and Denton all had to leave for Edmonton and they missed out on some fun stuff that day. we all got are prizes for the night before. since i won i got some shorts and for being first loser in rippin run i got a shirt. once everyone shows up we all play 4 square. that was fun but no one agreed to my rules. i wish ppl did cuz it would been fun. im really sneaky when it comes to 4 square. in the first game it would i get Camille out someone gets me out and it was like that for 5-6 times straight. it was really funny and fun haha. The net players ended up playing some 4square to, which was cool. i didnt even know how long we were playing but we had already played for 4 hours. there was pretty much no more time to shred. some of us went to bk to get somthing to eat and i remember Waylon and Kevin taking this really funny pic together. i couldnt stop laughin haha. i will post it when Camille uploads it. it was soo funny. when we got back we ended up playing some 5 on 5 net HAHAHA. freestylers playing net. it was really fun but the bugs were having a contest on who could suck more blood out of footbag players. i ended up walking aways to let Andrew Dunford film me solo since he wants to make a Manna special. i wasnt playing very well since i didnt shred all day. plus i havent slept in days. after that played abit more net and then called it in and just stayed in Eriks van. we ended up going to the u of m to shred more. and Andrew D filmed me abit. then i jumped in to some ciricle and shredded till 1 in the morning. Derek showed my how to do nuclear and i did matador after 4. i dont think i will do nuclear though. my knees keep on popping and it hurt. i really wanna to them since Derek is the master at them and named most of all the nuclear tricks but i think there just not for me. we colded of and just did some ducking x4 ppl hahaha. we ended up chilling out side and me and Camille came up with the funniest inside joke ever. haha but its inside soo you outside ppl cant know. Erik drove me home and i got home at 2 and i have school the next day. all worth it though.

Sept 22

i have school and i dont like it... im tired hungry and dont really wanna be there. i couldnt wait to get of. it was kinda easy since it was cooking all day and i got to sit down. your usually only supose to site down if you cut your finger but i was working on a big project soo i got to sit down all class and all morning. in the afternoon i just site even more and then i got of and headed straight to the shred spot. everyone was playing net soo i jioned in and i was playing really well. then i shredded alittle with Mike and Camille since all the other freestylers went home . all that was left was net players. we played a game of horse but it was hard for me since i had to think of easy stuff and i would have to ask to do a guiltless trick. after that we went to a burger place and there burgers werent the best even though there second in Winnipeg. after that we went to Eriks to shower of since we were gonna be going to Dereks for a hot tub night.
Mike has a 10 min shower Camille has a week long shower and i had a 10 min shower and then we head to Dereks house. since its Andrews bd i tell them that Andrew likes Icecream cake with choclate, i only tell them that cuz thats my favorite type of cake hahaha. they ended up buying it. and i told them that he likes it if we eat his cake before he sees it hahaha. they didnt fall for that one though haha. it was yummy cake even though i didnt even finish my peice. we get to Dereks place and omg, the hot tub was Beautiful we all jumped in and had a awesome time to a awesome weekend. it could have not ended any better. it was drizzling and that was nice with alittle bit of wind. we talked and talked and just had a ball. it could not have been anymore perfect than it was. when we got out are muscles were all soft and we had a stretching session since Andrew is a personaly trainer. then we wnet up stairs and what do you know. its Andrews Cake . we all have a peice and and all are really happy/ sad that hackrfice is ova. at this piont it 12am and i have school tmrw. i didnt get home till alittle after 1.

Sept 23

At school and very tired. all i wanted to do is sleep. everyone thought i was mad at school cuz my eye are really chinky since im half asian. Camille called it my occur the grouch eyes. everyone will notice it when you meet me haha. my eye just cant help them selves and just have to be lazy. right after school i went to the Airport and had a meal with the Fat ppl and Michell and the rest so hackrfice accept Andrew. then we had a Airport shred for like 20 mins and then had to drop of the fat ppl and said are goodbyes. i was really sad cuz then it hit me that hackrfice was over. i waited all those days for such a short happiness. we all ended up going home and all feeling sad that hackrfice was over.


OVERALL THOUGHT

hackrifice 10 was amazing, i wouldnt change anytihng about it. the ppl that came were soo loving and there wasnt anyone that i didnt click with. it really showed my how much i love foobtag and how much i love playing footbag. seriously, i think if there wasnt noo footbag i dont know if i would make it through high school. i dont like very many ppl at my school and they obivuoisly dont have the same interests as me. the ppl at hackrifice just added soo many more memories to my life and i will never forget them cuz hackrifice 10 was just that good. Thank and much love to everyone who showed up and Much love goes out to Andrew and the rest of the hackrifice crew for making me that much more loving of footbag. i hope there will be a hackrifice 11 and we get all the stuff together and all you guys who didnt come this year can make it out for a 11th anny.

...and I was the best-smelling shredder all weekend.

I had a total blast with you Manna! It seems that we were nearly attached at the hip all weekend! Especially at finals and in 4 square haha. So I was right, back in june or whatever, when I said that you're my new best friend. I knew we'd get along well in person, too. You're a great guy, a total joker, and an awesome footbagger! I really look forward to seeing you shred at the next Hackrifice! Holy shit, you're gonna be off the wall! And maybe you can compete open that time, instead of sandbagging me. Though I would love to be open by that time as well... We shall see...

Well Modified friend. it has been a good year but im quitting footbag forever and ever and ever and eber and eber just kiddding . i still play plenty of footbag. i just wont be blogging in here anymore. since the Hackrifice team wants to bring back a more hip and cool hackrifice.
