I've been working on my stitching for a bit, and I would like to put my 18th, 19th and 20th bags up for sale. Since these are new to the community I am offering these three at a low introductory price, and Iâ€™d like to get some feedback on how they play. (It also just so happens that the price off the three bags adds up to the cost of getting new mesh lavers shipped to me.) I use upholstery thread and lead-free filler (#7 steel, seed bead and a bit of #8 tungstensupershot). They are each 57g.

Hey Mike, #19 looks like the best in the bunch. With your craftmanship, I bet you can easily sell for $25-30 for bag quality in that manner!

Hotszy totszy, hotszy totszy. Hey fancy pants. Somebody sure got good at stitching in like one minute. Nice bags! Mine did not look that good after twenty.

I think that your pents look really good. They all look the same size and symmetrical. The hexes look good too. The gather on them looks very strong. Maybe don't pull em so tight at the end next time and they wont bunch on the corners. If you would like my opinion, which you got anyway, didn't you? Really nice though. Good job and keep up the good work. I agree with Waylon too. He is very wise.

I have two old pairs of mesh lavers. One is too big, size 11 1/2. They belonged to the great Zerbe. They are red. The other has some atomic set damage to the left shoe on the big toe side, but still work. They are 11s and white. I do not use either pair anymore. Have your people call my people if that is your size and if you still need shoes.

Thanks Waylon! I figured I would offer these first ones cheap since I don't really have a reputation here yet. I figure that will change. I have found a lot of your posts really helpful as I started learning, by the way.

Aaron- Thanks for the compliment- I wish my playing would progress as fast. It's actually your fault I'm stitching at all. That rainbow bag I bought from you really opened my eyes to the potential of this craft. It's the prize of my collection. Thanks for the tip- I will try a lower gather for my next one and see how it looks.

I'm actually a size 9 in lavers, I have a pair of modded black leather ones that are still kicking. I just like the idea of being able to rationalize buying a new pair with proceeds from stitching.

What is the fill of the bag?: Some seed bead, some tungsten, and some steal (I think.)

Typical Session Discipline: Anything from drilling the basics to hardcore shred.

How much did you pay?: Including shipping it was $19.65

Where did you purchase it?: From modified

What were the strengths of the bag?: VERY well stitched, overall pretty consistant, great weight, size is wonderful, floppy enough for non shuffle and stays round enough for shuffle play and tight dexes. Great feel, it felt broken in right out of the package. great price!

What were the weaknesses?: Barely any inconsistant stitches but a few wrinkles here and there but no one is perfect but this sure is close to it.

Similar bags you have played with?: Holly bag, reminds me A LOT of them.

Would you recommend it?: I would absuolutely recommend this bag to any shredder of any level.

Comments: Very fast service from mike. I was very surprised by the quality of this bag and there is no doubt that it will be my #1 when broken in! thanks mike!

Sonny- that sucks! I sent yours Monday, from the same post office I sent Ben's on tues. I know the Chicago post office is notorious, but I was thinking I would have better luck from a main branch.
Let's see if it shows up this week, if not I will take care of it.

yey ! came in like 10 minutes ago. along with my college acceptance letter! happy day.

the bag is sooooo soffffttttt.

nice and round. already broken in. nice weight.

great bag!

i was suprised when i took it out of the envelope to see its a tad bigger than my savage which i thought was pretty big. but i like big bags so this is good!

I starting playing with the bag you sold Lauren Silberman and it is amazing!

I took out a little fill because it was a little to full but after that the bag played amazing. The bag is super gushy and feels like one of my friends broken in mosher bags.

I was also wondering what the names of the colors you used to make the pimk pent dark green hex bag. Its really an astonishing combo.

Thanks for the feedback! I was just thinking I need to PM the folks who bought these original bags to see how they are holding up over time. I still have all my supplies and have been meaning to stich again, just haven't gotten myself motivated to do it.

I will look at my USL supply to see if I can pinpoint the colors from the one you asked about- I think the green is "oliver".
