All I'm saying is if a footbagger wants to look modern and not outdated, there are no current options available for footwear.

If we want to be the future we need to move forward in all areas.

I'm not saying I'm a fashion gooroo or anything but sneakers is pretty modern.

Also the shoes I have ever gotten the most positive comments on are these:

They are pretty similiar to all the popular shred shoes.

Now I'm just curious - What shoes would you like footbag shoes to look like?

I don't think we should be overly trend conscious. I'd be happy with some solid, dark colored shoes rather than white.

But whoever said its not important for a prototype made a good point.

Yeah he hits footbag tricks with great style but his clothing style hasn't changed a bit since mom stopped dressing him!

Haha yeah I thought a similar thing, but not quite as harsh. Like US Open a few years ago he wore a total retro tennis outfit, complete with headband. I didn't think it was dorky though at all, the sports geek in me was like OMG that's so rad!! It was his retro athlete thing, idk I loved it.

Richie's right though. Let's get this shoe out and try it first. I mean hell we all draw all over our shoes anyway, we have time to make them cool later.

It appears to me that Jorden continues to be one of the most eager players to promote footbag to the rest of the population that doesn't already play.
The idea of a fashionable footbag shoe is interesting because it might help better package the presentation of footbag, and he is probably right, but im with Sergey in saying that we need performance over look.

I play a 1960, mark VI tenor saxophone. This horn is considered to be one of the best vintage sought after saxophones on the planet. Its performance is incredible, its sound unmatchable..... its look - old, dirty, unpolished...

New musicians that I teach are more concerned with a saxophone's shiny appeal than its actually performance. In my playing I use my selection of notes, improvisation, tone, "trick selection", and other skills to present my music, not the look of my horn. However, I do wish that a could get a new horn that looked like sexy piece of brass and play like a Ferrari, but performance to me always outweighs look. First performance, then we attach the shiny wings(as long as it doesn't mess with my dexes.

Pics coming soon. I know this has been a long wait. It will be worth it. The construction has confused the designers. They dont realize that this is a footbag shoe. They built one like a normal shoe with the toe box flat and stitched the toebox walls flat. I had to explain what this shoe has to do and the look and function must be perfect. I think they have the right design almost complete. You will know more when I know more. Thanks for waiting, Richard Abshire
