i disagree.
my point from the beginning on was:
vasek had a very comprehensible, but dull choreography. he had very visible cues and filler. it lacked flow. he had a very easy song, that didn't need much attention to follow.
damians choreography was way more complex, like his music. hence you needed better sound quality to actually understand his routine.

Right. Of course it would be exciting to see better quality footage of Vasek's routine, but my suspicion is that the awkward moments would end up being more awkward.Jeremy wrote:But the new footage isn't of Vasek.
Yes better quality footage makes routines look better, and thus if you compare fairly close routines between two people, but one is well filmed high quality footage and the other is not, it seems likely that this will have an impact on how people judge routines.
At first I thought Twister's routine was just not exciting, but up close it certainly was. Again, Vasek's routine came across to me a bizarre. I am sure that it would have been great if it was done well, but it clearly seemed like he was struggling to get through the two minutes without dropping, while Twister was gracefully earning the recognition of a majority of the Judges.
Also, I don't take into consideration previous routines. I think I defended Vasek earlier in this thread from people that were doing so.
