Sorry about that Zach. I want to see your trick. That would be awesome if the cheese factory was one in the same. Free Cheese Boyee!
Recorded a Jam Session with Droan and R-Sygnal. We each went our own ways for about 2 years and it was the first time since then all 3 of us have had a completely improv jam and recorded it. 3 people, 3 samplers, 2 laptops (one for fruity loops and one for recording). Will post it sometime in the future.
NYJ is not gonna happen. It'll be around $700 for a ticket. I'm still $1k in the hole
edit: I'm 23 on Monday
edit2: Playing with a client's prosthetic leg, their fairy wings, and my nasty real-life mustache
I've been working a lot lately and it's been wearing me out. I've only played footbag about 4 times in the last 5 weeks. Wish more footbag could go down but it's tough.
Played yesterday with the MFA. Riley Stark is back in town! WOO! It was fun to hang out with him and also shred.
It took awhile to get going but had a good session towards the end. The first 3dex>3dex I ever hit was pigbeater>smog a couple years ago. Finally hit it on the flipside for the first time. That felt really good
hilights:
-flip pig>flip smog
-long boppy runs
-a run w/ bsos vortex, bsos blurry drifter, bsos mobius, and bsos smoke
-bedwetter>dimwalk>rpt (This may have been my first flip bedwetter)
-symp marius
AFter a few beers last night, I started thinking about gingerbread houses. Such as: what happens when it rains? Would it have to be in a dry climate like a desert? what do you do when your house gets stale? do you have a huge oven in the back where you bake up some walls? Could you just walk through a wall to get into your house if you locked yourself out? That doesn't sound very safe.
Yo I was watching Dirty Jobs yesterday, and they were at the Crowley cheese factory.
saw that episode, wasn't dirty at all. I always thought the pig farmer one was the grossest.
Good session today. That was my fourth session of the week, and it's only Tuesday. Monday afternoon in the oval with Jere was my favorite. I did a dropless/guiltless shred 30, blurry whirl>dyno>p. blender for a big 3 and Food for a sick one on my last 3 bag possessions. Playing this much feels good.
I'm having a great time in Missoula. Kickin' it with Jere these past few days has been wonderful.
It's like the cool thing to move blogs to all these decentralized places these days. And I sort of get it, but selfishly, I like to be able to come to one place and see what everyone is doing.
also, props on the bsos toe flurry, though barefoot makes me discount it a teense... but the pose that is captured before you hit play in the youtube window makes me un-discount it a lot. that's totally a superhero pose, and I'm married so I don't mean that in a weird way at all
