The FTB Blog (now with new poll!)
update:
Ankle is feeling better. I can walk on it. The outside and inside bones are what still hurt every now and then, and my leg is bruised still about half way up to the knee.
I have a job. I'm working with soyface a research group that investigates the effects of elevated levels of CO2 and other climate changes on agriculture. Currently I've been on my feet ( I tape my ankle up well) for 7-8 hours a day doing work in corn and soy fields. Sometimes I'm hurting by the end of the day, but I'm not sure whether the pain is from the bad ankle or pressure from the tape and the tape being on for so long. .
I tried consecutive toe stalls barefoot (no support either). I did twenty or so. No terrible pain, but a little bit of tension when I plant my bad ankle. I iced immediately afterwards.

I wish I could go to the CIC B-day Jam but I'm super broke and gas money is killin' me...
Also I haven't shredded in a few weeks, but even hanging out would be cool. Oh well, I think Reid is going.

Don't be stupid. Don't play footbag yet. Don't walk when you don't have to. This is for a faster recovery and the long term health of your ankle.
Sincerely,
Emily

Hey Eric,
I haven't been up to much. Working mostly. I'm a research technician for my university in a lab that studies the effects of climate change on agriculture. Been playing club waterpolo. I just started footbagging again myself. I sprained my ankle pretty bad over the summer (see the pictures earlier in the blog), and it just now feels healed enough, and I have the motivation to get back into it.
How about yourself? What have you been up to, and what inspired the re-surge of interest in Footbag?

I'm responding in reverse order.
Leaning mirage and triple around the world, highly doubtful.
Most likely.
Liz and I are practically moved in with each other. She has her things stored elsewhere, but she is here most of the time. That's nice to hear about you and Heather. I like Heather, and I like you so it works out well. Hopefully that saves some money splitting a place as well. I'm checking your website out in t-minus several minutes. Good to here you are enjoying work. I talked with Bob after I heard about his father. We should plan a get together, here there or somewhere nice. Anyway now for the footbag stuff.
Three ball juggling personal record. Some other juggling stuff personal records too. Freestyle is terrible but coming back. Left clippers need lot of training.

Thanks tom for checking out the blog. I started shredding again 2 weeks ago, and have played everyday except last friday since. I bumped my video from before the sprained ankle this summer as a little bit of motivation to keep it going. My Goal is to be as good as was there or better for New Years Jam.
Highlight for this session
barrage>dimwalk>ripwalk repeat x6. Big step up form last week. That was clipper>clipper> drop for my highlight. Anyway keeping the momentum rolling.
