The 2009 Calendar is complete!

I ordered 25 and they should arrive in about 2 days. They are listed on Freedom Footbags for 19.95

They are really nice!! :D
Good quality glossy cardstock.

Thanks to everyone who helped in this process! Especially Samuel who took the amazing photos, Verena for sending me to his gallery, Zeke, Wiktor Debski, Gosia Nycz, and the Czech Footbag Association for their contributions!

Is it possible to get make some with Monday as the first day of the week and Sunday the last? I'm sure Europeans would prefer that version.

It wasn't an option with the printing company I was using - they had their standard format.

Daryl and I actually talked about making it more European friendly, thinking that we could remove the US holidays, or at least add some of the European holidays. We thought that it was also a bit too Christian centered, but then realized there were some other religious holidays included as well.

I did add the International Day of Peace, September 21st as declared by the United Nations.

I think we could shop around for another printer and perhaps next year offer a European and US version. I would probably have to consult with someone from Europe to make sure I get everything right.

The European week starts on Monday...hmmmm...I did not know that. :)

It would be cool if it just had hollidays and events relating to footbag.

For example:
- The biggest tournaments
- Some players birthday
- No Shave November
And more..

It does have the big footbag event listed!

...all the tournaments and jams from footbag.org for 2009 plus the US Open, Funtastik, the Beaver Open...I think that's it.

I joked about putting mine and Daryl's birthdays on it and Daryl just gave me a weird look. If I had more time I could have compiled birthdays...if someone wants to compile this list we could use it next year.

I think I would consider buying this calender for the prospect of checking out important dates for footbag events and tournaments. Its pretty useful, and you don't have to constantly check footbag dot org for these reasons.
