the add's doesn't count here
I repeat the addd's doesnt count here.... who care's about add's?

if you say
1. Me (because unless I missed something I hit the only 7 add trick in the comp, unless you count a pendolous set as an add.)

you are completly wrong my friend....

you can win becuase your trick is really good and difficult but not becuase it is 7adder

Yeah maybe my comment sounded harsh.. but don't get me wrong, I've never hit marius, let alone the alpine version.. so I can appreciate how hard the trick is. However it's more common then peglegbeater and I'd venture easier too (I've never hit peglegbeater before either of course).

Oh and it's a 7 with xdex: toe > symp op out [dex][bod]> op out [dex][xdex] > op out [dex]> op clip [xbd][del]

Max, thanks for the notation.
TheLast, Thanks for putting this comp on and I understand about adds not always being the coolest.

I will try tommorrow to hit pegglebeater. Josh , wish me luck!

I'm not entirely sure the third dex(the second dex of the barrage) is there. Even if it is, its somewhat toe-y. Hard to say though, the indoor lighting always makes it harder to see things on camera.

There's something wrong with the sick3 video - I think you need to upload it again. I could only download the first 10mb.

Great standard of competition.

It would be nice if people could give explanations for their ranking, as I don't really understand a lot of the judgements made. I'll give mine when I get home tonight I guess, or possibly on the weekend since I have stuff on every night until Saturday.

If you want my opinion on your rankings please pm me. Everytime I give my opinion in this thread somebody always bashes it, so I'll do it through pm. If anybody is interested.

How about you man the fuck up!

;)

But seriously opinions that aren't backed up are fairly meaningless and unconvincing, so not posting reasoning will result in people dismissing your opinions.

If by "bashing" your opinion, you mean that people disagree and post reasons why, and even do so in an expressive manner in order to gain support for their own opinion, well that's going to happen in any discourse, so the only way you can avoid this is by not expressing yourself. Everybody else faces the same risks when putting their opinion out there as well, so it's not like you're a target. Good arguments that are well expressed can stand on their own. Bad ones need to be constantly propped up.

If you're actually referring to the inability of many people on this forum to think logically and rationally, and the constant ad hominems and deconstructionist insults rather than attempting to address the actual claims you've made; just keep in mind there are some people with critical thinking skills who see through those kinds of attacks and dismiss them. I don't know why anybody would care what people like that think about anything.

So in this case I'm only interested in your opinion if you're prepared to put it "out there" in public. I am genuinely interested, but I don't see what could be gained by private discussion.

I manned up the last couple times and I just got sick of it.

1. Peggedlegbeater (14.8 ) - I thought the quantum was really close to the, and not sympy enough.
2. Pendulous Ducking Symp Reverse Whirling Rake (14.7) - Really cool and underrated trick just because people don't like rakes. Even though it was a bad angle, I took off for the rev whirl because it looked too vertical (rather than actually going around the bag).
3. Alpine Marius (14.55) - The beginning and end (spin and osis) were pulled. No one will really call you on it unless it's a sick 1, but whatever. Good trick.
4. Alpine Fusion (14.5) - Really really good. Only minor balance issues which I took off a little bit for.
5. Pixie Flurry (14.45) - Barefoot and the third dex was thin-ish.
6. Phasing ss Symp Whirl (14.25) - The symp whirl was thin/borderline the. So was the fairy.
7. Spinning Whirling Swirl (14.2) - Just off balance and looked really lucky.
8. Mantis (14.15) - Very minor balance issues, and maybe a thin illusion dex? Kind of a bad angle.
9. Backside Rasmus (14) - The symp mirage was really bad - more rakey than symp mirage almost.
10. Leviathan (13.8 ) - Sort of off balance and the last dex was the.
11. Maelstrom (13.65) - Spin was slurred and the duck was a tiny bit too high.
12. BS Blur (13.25) - Pretty good, nothing major wrong with it.
13. Tripwalk (12.9) - A good tripwalk. I took nothing off for it, it just wasn't as hard.

Thanks Zac :)

I was hoping your comments could be comparative though. What is it about 1. that makes it 1. etc.

Cheers,
