I'm sore as frick from playing 2 square Sunday. What a wake-up call. Actually, Tom's been handing me my ass just about every time we've played this year. I can't even remember the last time I had losing records 2 sessions in a row. So much for my theory of net making me better at squares... Anygay, I feel sorry for the person that gets him first round at the 2s comp.
I added a few shirts to my zazzle gallery. I can set the royalties I get for each shirt but the higher I set it, the more expensive this shirts costs. Ten percent is what I have it set currently and its as low as it gets.
I finally broke down and bought a new graphics tablet. My old one was useless on the new PC. Incidentally, that's part of why there will not be any new shirt designs by me this year. Nathan offered to fund it but I just didn't finish the project soon enough.
It's so fucking cold today.

The night after Christmas. I went outside my house with my tripod hoping to get at least one good capture of the fog. I was in a rush since I still had some packing to do for the Holiday Sports Festival so I forgot to change the white balance (again). The sepia-ish effect I ended up with was unintentional but I still kinda like it.

I took a walk around the park near my house today after doing laundry. I decided not to let the weather stop me from going out and taking photographs (at least for today). I bundled up for the cold and was about an hour and a half. My hands were starting to get a little cold near the end but other than that I was fine.
Went out and got some groceries earlier today. Wasn't too terrible outside.
I just ate a really big brunch - 2 pancakes. 2 eggs over easy, and 5 of those brown n serve sausage links.
If my intestines are still in tact and my heart is still working after a couple hours, I think I'll still go out and take photos of the snow and such. According to weather.com:
Today's high -1°F, wind NW @ 15 mph, feels like -20°F
I've got 2-3 layers of clothing everywhere and my body tends to generate lots of heat easily enough (hence my uber sweaty-ness) so I really don't feel cold . The only annoying part is the moisture from my breath fogging up the viewfinder on my camera and freezing at the end of my eye lashes.

Today's outdoor shoot was an epic fail. I made it to the park easily enough and took a few shots. I started at the bridge over the river then I walked around to reach the underpass so I could get close ups of the mist swirling around the supports. Then the rechargeable batteries died out in my camera and quickly noticed that I forgot to pack the second set in my bag. I did have an emergency set of alkaline batteries in the bag but they died out soon after I installed them. I did manage to take 50 or so shots before everything pooped out on me. I don't know if I got anything worthwhile. I'm going through them now...
