Stitching challenges... accepting now.

Post by brianbear »

Hey stitchers and footbaggers!!!
Before I started stitching, there were certain patterns I wanted to see... but no way for me request them without money or a bag to trade... I am also interested in expanding my understanding of how to make different designs, soo I can sew any pattern imaginable.

Anyways, I thought it would be fun to accept requests for bags even if you can't buy em.

This is meant to be like the challenges thread in the main modified section.

Have a cool idea for a design??? Be creative and hopefully some interesting patterns will come about.

Contact Louis Rinowski about the "Twisted" pattern. He's made a pretty sweet replica.

Some day, I will take up the twisted pattern myself, and make it small and freestylable. Some day...

If you have red, white, and blue, make a bag that has one white pent with five white hexes around it, so it looks like a star, and the rest of that half five blue pents and five blue hexes. Make the other side red and white striped so all together it looks like an American flag. I've been wanting to see what this looks like for a while, but I've been really busy stitching other bags.

I want to see three bags! A "G" footbag, "u" footbag, and a "y" footbag. I think I can come up with money for a three pack..... whats your filler?
My girlfriend thinks I'm a dork.............
But she loves me anyways.

i don't have white yet, but when i get some i'll try the flag :)

that would be prettty cool to learn some letters! The U and Y would be pretty easy i think :)
I use different fillers for different bags, but i usually use lead and seadbeads, sometimes with plastic polys and if the fabric is on the stronger side, a few grams of steel. between 55-60 grams.
Any colors in mind?
