New Year's Jam 2008
Everyone,
I regret to say that Ted Fritsch has to bail out on his attendance to NYJ. He booked an appointment with a surgeon for a spinal cord injury that overlapped the dates with this event. This injury could end his footbag career.
I don't want to convey this post on such a sad note, but I want to have everyone keep their thoughts to Ted throughout this event and hope for the best. Let's have a great time playing Net in his absence, and many good and hearty cheers in his honor.
I'm booking my flight right now, and will tell you all my arrival and departure times soon.
edit:
Arriving ORD: Fri. 12/26, 7:25am United 0667
Departing ORD: Tue. 12/30, 8:05am, United 0672
Anyone available to pick me up?
edit3: Grammar fixed. I've been really tired for all of today and have been feeling concerned for Ted. [Improper] Adjectivitis is one of the few habits I get when this happens.

Not to nitpick, but I found this construction to be very confusing.Wasabi wrote:This injury could inevitably end his footbag career.

Anyway, I wished Ted good luck on the phone, and I know modified's thoughts are with him.dictionary wrote:inevitable-sure to occur, happen, or come; unalterable: The inevitable end of human life is death .

cheap floor space
Help me fill up the suite. We've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars so that we have a place to eat and chill, and if a few more people stay it will lighten the financial burden. And we're keeping it to like 10 people this year instead of 30 or whatever a few years ago. We have a few spaces left, and it's cheap. $40 for both nights per person. PM me or email @ [email protected]

We'll be using the updated Circle rules.
Quick info:
Semifinal and final will be:
3 turns per round
round 1 = variety string
round 2 = density string
round 3 = original & difficult combo, 5 moves maximum.
I'm getting really excited.
2 weeks!!
And I received prizes from Andre - Shellsofparadise. Wow! really special stuff - very personal touch. I was expecting one footbag, and you made several for us, and those carrying cases. woot woot woot. awesome
