I have an entzündeter Nerv at my back which is bugging me for almost
2 months now. Furthermore, my doctor told me about my knees
that I developed a chronical Patella-Spitzen-Syndrom, which means
my Patellasehne is constantly entzündet due to constant Überbelastung
over a long time (Footbag). Since I still want to be able to walk when I'm
50 years old, footbag will become a very rare occasion for me.

(It's difficult finding the time between Ausbildung and Family anyway).

Bjoern!
Swimming and biking! I know you like to bike a lot with the little one -- these are great for strengthening the muscles around your knees. If I can understand your post minus the intermittant German words, I think we have the same thing. My knees have been feeling super extra raw lately and I plan to bike a lot to fix that. Just make sure that your seat is high and that when you pedal your legs don't bend more than 90 degrees!

Hope to see you guys in the summer!!

thanks for the motivation, Erik! I plan to do more swimming in the
future + build up strength in my back muscles. Maybe when I'm back in
my old shape I can try and kick again...

As for you, Daryl, Max, Bea, Toby: I still check the blog regularly,
hoping to read about what's being hit these days. Where's the progress?

Noone's writing anymore. Check the first 40-50 pages of the blog to
see what I mean..

right on ! well, those arent really highlights but fun indicators of at least some form of consistency on my ( not much playing lately ) behalf :

paradon bsos and para>barfly first try ; para>pdx dlo

tap>dmirage>butter>pdx>rpt>string

2 runs in the later teens, one over twenty

both symple swirls first try

phoenix ; pixie para

tap>atom>dmir>tpa>atom>some seal

spins, ducks/dives, whirls, dso was on - drifter/dlo were shaky

it was really refreshing to finally move without thinking, cuz my daily routine is usually configurated excactly the other way round .

Max was as fun to watch as always (Form!) and Toby impressed me with
playing better without practice .

BEA, BJOERN and ERIK - i miss you so much, please come back soon !!!

( in case you read this, dear Asmus, i love you too of course, but you're
just not a member of Munich Footbag as of now : )

It gives me security and serenity to know that footbag has re-established it
self in my set of activities, but the break also has had its virtues.

I strongly recommend occasional breaking to all, who, just like me dont really
understand the difference between a zen monastry and a the
spiritual bootcamp of the korean olympic hockey team :P

This session felt like a long drill to me - i didnt do many longer runs,
but there were some good combos and a lot of reliability in standard
drills such as duck>spin rpt, para>pdx rpt, drifter>whirl and so on.

Stuff :

para>pdx dlo bs

spinning mirage bsos

tap>ducking lo>rpt>string

atom>legbeater>ss symple swirl

butterx6>d.clipx4>d. clip>div.clip>rpt>spin clip>d.clip>clipclip>d.clip>
clip>d.clip>d.mir>d.leg>d.mir>d.leg.>butter>d.mir>drop on d.butter

alpine atomsmasher, alpha legbeater, pixie para, pixie dlo

Do you plan on kidnapping me or what? That would give me a serious case of stockholm syndrome!
