I've watched this about ten times now. I'm surprised that it hasn't been posted yet. I would love to see more footage from this competition. Especially Vasek's RR.

aaw man, too bad vasek dropped the montage at the end. would have been killer.

I loved how norek saved his bail with a head stall... who else does that? Top class!

It wasn't posted because Norek wanted to upload top three routines and post about them all together and he had some uploading problems...

Vasek's routine was the killer! So were his Most Rippin Runs. What about two minutes Guiltless string sealed with 7 Fearless or something like that?!

Still, wait guys for Marcin Bujko's routine. He placed 2nd in the competition and his routine was a killer too!

Vasek obviously is the best footbag player in the world for now, he was not even trying to do hard tircks to get points, he was trying to do tricks with the music, follow by the rhythm. He is on another level what we called "Art"~

Not really, he wasn't trying to just shred off with the music, he was trying to match every tricks with the music. Like the ripwalk, as you can see, step step step with the guitar don don don etc.. lol And I noticed he controlled the footbag really well, the footbag just landed on his foot where the rythem or the beat just hitted.

I don't want to, but I have to agree.

Whats with the random inside kicks and delay and stuff during the routine?It really ruins the flow IMO. He did it at worlds and it was a bit annoying.

Still my favourite player

I'm not talking about synchronization to music . I'm talking about style, like the way he does tricks you know, the flow of his shred.
Of course he's on the music. But something changed. I mean it used to look really really easy you know, like his flow was just perfect. And there , you can see all those little bails which are just not looking right.
You can also see that he looks really heavier on his feet . Just look at him doing a spinning butterfly,it's not the way im used to see vasek doing a spinning butterfly.
I mean, he still can do some crazy moves, throwing 20 5 adds during a routine, being perfectly on the beat, but , for me , it's not the most impressive and the better thing i liked about vasek. For me it was his style you know, the actual way he plays footbag, the flow of his runs...
Take a look at the vasek parts in SICK03 , you will maybe know what i mean.

yeah, vasek style is definately more crunchy now. Sick ass routine though. likely the best ever performed.

which sucks for Bujko, because his routine was sick as hell as well. major props!

Talking about Vasek, I think this music rutine is bad for do a good performance. There's a lot of stops, and this is when Vasek does the kicks and delays... Not greatfull to see.

Anyway, he starts saying "this is what I can do, and like nothing!" A lot of hard triks that Vasek has mastered long ago (PS whirl, scorpions tail,...) makes the rutine more fun to see.

I think he still have the best stile playing. For me, he is the reference to understand what is clean and what not. He allways have a lot of space to do the tricks! The key it's the knee. "Up the knee!!" He says that to me in every symp. trick XD to make it clean.

That was an aggressive routine by Vasek. I wonder why he played down his final at worlds.

As for the kicks and inside/toe stalls; they do seem a little out of place. Although, after watching it in a few of his routines I can see his does it with purpose. It's kind of like he is tapering off his mini runs within the routine. May be it would still look good with out and may be he is adding a new touch to routine structure.

Re; Vasek's music. While I agree in terms of a general performance, in terms of competition judging it's important to not judge people's music, but just to judge how they use the music. Not only is people's taste in music subjective, but picking good music (not good for routine music, just musically good music) is not a footbag skill. I think ultimately Vasek's music selection is very good because it is very dynamic and allows for him to demonstrate an ability to play with a lot of different styles.
