Trigonometry Help

We're studying permutations and combinations and I have a little trouble determining which formula to use.
Any tips on how to tell which one to use?

I am also confused about that. Maybe it would make sense if we got some specific examples of the questions you're having problems with. I'd certainly be happy to help if I knew what I was helping with

I think the question is asking if people have any tips on which formulae to use in trigonometry - probably just out of the options of when to use sin, cos or tan, but possibly also involving the laws of those (although I imagine if you're doing sine laws etc. you should already have the skills to work out which formulae to use, since it's probably a given).

Yeah what does trig have to do with combinatorics lol.

The question was about permutations and combinations. I have trouble deciding which formula to use and when. I know the thing about the order, but I still have trouble.
Maybe it's Algebra 2 or Statistics, but I have no clue because my class is just Math 1. It's a mix of all the math subjects.

Well I mean I guess its just a matter of practise. If I have a small pile of jelly beans in front of me then only a combination would really apply. In the case of say a PIN, then 3425 is different to 2543 so your calculations would involve permutations.

Professor- Maths is correct, not math. It comes from mathematicS, not from mathematic. It's plural.
