:D
We filmed the other night at shred, skippy is supposed to be making a video but I ruined his inspiration and motivation to edit it when I told him the song he picked sucked. BUT, I later realized I don't actually dislike the song and that that was really shitty of me. I felt bad, I bummed skippy out. :(
I think he's slowly re-energizing to edit the video, which I'm glad about because I actually hit some kinda not sucky stuff.

I'm pretty sure blurriest>spinning whirl was a new link for me, either way, I hit that and it felt good, it was part of a string too.

Anyways, it always feels great to shred, I love this sport! I want to be like Scott Davidson, he shreds EVERY SINGLE DAY!! He decided to start playing every day after he turned 40, long after his competitive peak. And man, I'd love to be in his shape at 40!

I need to learn stepping ducking, why has it eluded me? I can muscle a ripped warrior out with force, but how come they haven't just gotten easier like every other trick? :P :?

Maybe it's because I never really remember to do them because they never work out so to try one basically just means a drop. And like I always say, you get good at what you practice, so um.. since I never practice them I'm obviously not going to make much progress. That does it! At every shred I will do more stepping ducking, double spinning and at least 2 or 3 mobius' both sides.

:)

Anyways, I've got work to do, just thought I'd pop in and make a legit FOOTblog post!! Look at that, I didn't mention the B word ONCE in this post!! :P

I think "step, then ducking" is a lot easier than "stepping ducking". what I mean by that is, it's a lot easier to get a high set if you don't start into duck position until the dex is over.

great to have hosted you guys. That was great, just like old times. Jay was a nice addition.

is bevier coming to NYJ with us? what's the dilly.

Love you all!

Nice stuff Mosher...the 6 barflys was especially nice and stylish, and the 20 contact guiltless combo at 1:50 with blurriest>spinning whirl, L blurriest and PS whirl was super dope!!!! Keep shredding bro!

Are those other footbaggers on modified? I don't recognize the names. Could they be fixies?

Blurry whirl > mobius still looked really tight, even though it wasn't hit. KEEP SHREDDING!

THANKS guys! :D

Pete - I think that was my first time hitting blurriest>spinning whirl, I ought to do it more! Thanks for the props, you're the most talented human I know so it always means a lot!

Dan - the other two guys are my BOYS! haha Skippy has been around for a while, he just hasn't been posting much lately. Liam has been shredding a bit over a year and he's getting more and more into it.

Here's my newest bike video, it's pretty silly:

Hey Moshé!

I like to see the motivation you have being thrown in all different directions. Are we going to play before NYJ?

Oh, and could you loan me your whirls when you're not using them? Like, if you want them back for when you session that is fine, but I'd REALLY appreciate if you could at least let me try them out.

Oh, was the HUGE bike string a "breakthrough" string for you, or is that getting more and more normal?

It is definitely time for me to make my re-entrance into shred, obviously, when people from TO don't know who I am.

Peter Irish watched our video!? Sick!!!

Hey Mosh!

Sorry for messaging you all the time on MSN.
I most annoy you quite a bit.

You should change your rank on modified to Brutal Bike Boner! :D

Are you up for the t-shirt idea? I think it's a sick idea and I would like to use some time on it when I get christmas holliday.

I had the best cuddle this morning!!!

Hugs and love.
- A

You wrote this a bazillion pages back in your blog. Sweet.
I love zipping around on my bike thinking about the beautiful phyics at work that allow me to have that fun. The gyroscopic forces created by my spinning wheels resist gravities natural desire to pull me to the ground and the end result is so breathtaking and magical! I don't think people take the time to really appreciate how simple/complex the wonderful physics that control our lives is.

Dan - I fully condone re-entrance into the scene but the reason I don't know who you are (now I do) is because I'm still a huge footbag newbie. Hopefully we'll play some time in the new year.

Tom - Crazy long bike string.

The ONLY reason I'm not up for it is because if I'm getting warmed up I like to use all my concepts and components.

BUT, that isn't to say I am against a chunk like that in the middle of the session.

Stoked to shred!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS MODIFIED!!!!!!

I guess I better get all ready for NYJ eh?

Reading Ken's blog where he talks about having not played for a week and thus he'll be all rusty really made me laugh because I've become so unconcerned with stuff like that lately. I haven't played in a week and all that says to me is that my muscles will be fresh.

I will probably play well at NYJ, every time I play lately I feel really strong and confident and I can play at about the highest level I've ever achieved so it's still quite fun.

I've got two bags stitched and hopefully I'll have one more by the time I get there.

Whee!

Love!

Lots and lots and lots has been going on, 2009 is my year and I can't go wrong!

I now have full sponsorships for all my bike parts, a great job on the horizon and a part in a DVD soon too!

Oh yeah, and on Feb. 14 I fly to Vancouver, then drive down the west coast of the states hitting all the cool cities like Portland, Seattle, LA, SF, even LV and then, of all things, flying to Hawaii for 2 weeks.

And all this on my friends tab.... 8O

She got a big insurance settlement after a bike crash and decided she wanted to get out of Portland and that she was going to take someone, well, she picked me!

So um, lots more details to follow, but there may be a Mosher in your town soon!

Oh yeah, and then when I get back from that I have a video to film for with one of my sponsors team, we're doing a week in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and NYC, so if you live in those places, I will also see you soon!

hahhaha what the fuuuuck!? Oh, but I have to pay for the second trip, we'll see how that goes!

So, I mentioned the job on the horizon, that's with my friend and the landscaping company he owns. I'd get to do real hands on designing stuff with him and be intimately involved in stuff. Anyways, he basically said yeah for sure, come April. So now I get to go jet around the world being a party boy with a sick job waiting for me when I get back!

OHHHHH!!! AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT JOB WOULD MEAN I WOULD HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO GO TO WORLDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8O 8) 8O 8) 8)

I don't have anything 'in the bank' just yet, but I will figure something out, all my stars are aligning this year and I WILL NOT miss a World's in fucking Berlin, my favorite city on earth!

Anyways, that will also mean a swing past London to get to ride with the Fixed Gear London crew and this one rider in particular. I've struck a great friendship with this cute girl named Juliet Elliott, she's a sponsored fixed gear rider from London and we've been chatting via email for a few months now I guess. I don't want to jinx anything, so I'll just say she's very nice and interesting and she likes to do tricks and ride bikes. :)

Anyways. it's 2:45AM and I have to be at work at 8 AM, par for the course. It's money in the bank and that's all that matters, I look forward to the 9 hours of unloading boxes from an 18 wheeler as a great workout!

I need to play more footbag, life has just been so hectic. Once I have that job I will be moving to Richmond Hill and hopefully also having a flat in Toronto, that will change my whole footbag landscape. I look forward to more chances to shred with FAT, some of them seem really hardcore right now and that's rad.

Bed time! Night Modified! 8)

Congrats on getting a sugar mommy. When you get your details sorted for your East Coast trip, let me know. I can try and make it up to NYC to play when you get there.

Glad to hear life is looking good for you. It was good seeing you at NYJ and playing some kickybag.
