Also, I hit 9 unique fearless yesterday. I think it was phoenix > fog > pixie paradon > blurry whirl > blurry whirl > ps whirl > tomahawk > tomahawk > ps whirl > drop on spinning whirl

I know I can get 10. Just need to get it done.

Played with Evan today. I'm convinced that he can be the best someday if he keeps at it. You would think I'd get used to watching him play, but he's still one of my favorite players to watch.

Anyway, I played pretty decent today. I was satisfied, especially since I played a lot yesterday, so I wasn't expecting much.

I played with Evan on Friday. We had a 3 hour long non-stop session. In such a long session you get to see how elusive good quality footbag is. One minute you'll be on fire, hitting whatever you want, then the next you're dropping an easy trick 3 times in a row. I saw this cycle run it's course a few times through in both our games. Of course, Evan's peaks are much better than mine, but the basic concept is still the same. Evan's hitting some radical stuff, it's so great to watch. I hit some decent stuff too I think. Can't really remember though. I'm learning to set the bag closer to me. I think it's helping. We'll see.

Just wanted to say I liked both your xmas videos. I like the way your game flows, and how clean everything is.

Good luck with 10 fearless. What helped me with it was figuring out where I could breathe. If you can find like, 2 links that allow you to get your breath back, then 10 isn't that bad. See if you can find a blw-blw, or a psw-spin whirl in the middle somewhere to "recharge." I know you can do it.

WTF?!

I've seen them before, but maybe I didn't understand the epic-ness back then...or something.

... That is so weird, I just watched both these videos, like 4 or 5 hours ago and thought to myself "Wow! Did he hit that the first time?!" several times throughout both videos... Maybe it's just because Jim recently hit ripstein>swifter>rpt and the fact that I couldn't make out what Vasek was doing the first time I watched these vids, but ripstein>stepping far muted rev swirl>rpt was what really stuck out the most to me (besides the flurry run), especially cuz these are over a year old. Vasek is good at footbag. :)

It's snowing right now....in VEGAS! It's awesome. This is only like the 3rd time I've been somewhere as it's snowing.

What a coincidence, stanford is my favorite crew.

Just a heads up, Evan and I might be broadcasting live in 30 minutes. That depends on if the internet works at the school gym.

I may or may not have sprained the mess out of my ankle.

Although, signs are pointing to yes...

Remember, ICE during the first 48 hours. Ice, Compress, and Elevate. Ice for 20 minutes max at a time. I hope you recover quickly.

So, I haven't played for real since my last post exactly a month ago. The ankle issue is the reason. The sad thing is, I haven't been too broke up about it.

It's nice to take time off and not be in love with it for a little bit. You come back and rediscover that passion. Injury is a great time for that. Especially if you cope well ;)
