JoshC. wrote:Heres my 8th bag. Definately my best. A lot less gather than my last, and much more consistent. My last panel is still poor though, with big bleed holes where I made the last knot.

Any ideas are appreciated.
Sorry Matt, I didnt take a picture before tucked in the knot. I was just excited about almost finishing. :D
*EDIT* New page

@Josh, the only thing I'd recommend is working on stitch placement and even up your gather.

@Shortis, that black and jaguar(?) hybrid is beautiful!!

Sweeeeeeeeeeet.

I made two bags for NYJ. Just started on my third. Will post pics soon.

I'll be making much more for the tournament! Tom K will have first choice on which will be a prize, of course.

Here's my bag that's going to NYJ.

Black and White. 65 grams. Golf ball size, if not a little bigger.

"fabric, floss, and lead" to "complete footbag posted online" in JUST under 2 hours.

would have been faster if I hadn't stitched lazily for the first half of the bag.

ps: it's another ninja star variant; both colors are in solid pieces.

Gift for Anssi,

I'm making a bag a day this break, so all those who want a footbag from me can speak up for this short time only...Until school starts again.. They happen to be $30 Canadian, or $25 US.

If you think I'm a genius, i think Nick Landes trumps me on better variations. He's thought of patterns I haven't considered before.

I'm really glad that stitching has progressed so much, and that I'm still here to experience it all. I just wish I had more time to sew bags comfortably.

That new bag is with the same template as the ones beside it, except it is with far higher gather. I want to make a strange array of styles so at NYJ I can see what people like the best.

I hope whoever gets it plays footbag.

did you play with a bag that had amaretta&facile hexes, yet?
if yes, how did it turned out after a couple of sessions?
