Well I promised some people I'd make a trip for them so... shit 2 hours... ugh.... a promise is a promise though.

travel times maxxed out the other day to record levels during a light snow. 4 hour commute from downtown to ohare

It can be as short as a half hour. Honestly the best bet is to take the el train from ohare into the city. Its fun and adventurous, youll see. You can do pickups from a train stop in the city vs driving back and forth to ohare.
And to out of towners- Dont hang out at the hotel before the event, go into the city. Chicago is a unique city and you wont experience it at hyatt mccormick.

I can take the train, but I would like to meet up with people at a certain rendevous spot in the city or hotel. What are people's thoughts about this?
