Bought or Made?
Most of you guys use home stitched bags or bought online or at a store? If you have a preference please explain : ) I use store bought because i don't trust my stitching but i'd definitely try to make my own sometime.

Where's the "it doesn't matter to me" option?

Re: Bought or Made?
People who buy footbags from stores are generally new players who haven't learned better yet.JusticeKnuckles wrote:Most of you guys use home stitched bags or bought online or at a store?
Your poll could be interpreted to mean either:
Are the bags you use store bought or hand made?
or
Do you buy your bags (from stitchers or stores) or make your own?
And the difference is important.

Agreed. I didn't vote because I didn't know which you meant.Moxie wrote:

My advice is: beginners should buy freedom footbag 4 panel bags. These are cheap, and good enough that you can learn all your basics with them.
Once you get to intermediate level (guiltless), then I recommend you buy a 32 panel bag made by a footbagger. Waylon Lew (Wasabi) makes excellent 32 panel bags.

I just voted randomly by playing paper rock scissors with myself.
When I buy new bags I usually just go into the stitching forum and send a message to the most recent person to post saying they made bags or have them to sell and buy some off them. So they are home made bags that I buy.
My most recent bag is an Alf bag - which I haven't seen at all, but Lotus was getting some, so I tacked on an order. We play with one of his bags twice a week and it's one of the sweetest bags ever. I like having a variety of different bags - but all home made 32s (so actually hardly any variety

well i have a 8 panel dirtbag and a sandman but i really wanted to see what all the hype was on 32 panels so i have a Matt Cross bag and a Cale 'bomb' bag in the mail. i can barely go tiltless without dropping it after 4 or so tricks, but im hoping to excel with the 32's once they arrive. i hope it makes it easier to set from clipper etc.
