i've downloaded this vid. And i regret about it.
Nothing new from any player i know in person. Except Danila. He has improved a lot.

For example: As far as i know Andrew from Omsk, he was doing motion x ... for already a YEAR. Best trick ever?

Nothing personal, but i do not like this ...

At least you might have come to the event and see the level of players by yourself, and then judge.. impartially.

Can not say, that level was different to what i saw, when i was playing this summer.

yes! i don't like it.
i dont like the editing, music and all these pathos about "history of footbag in russia"

sorry, Rivers, but i haven't seen your game and one from Omsk. as i already said. if someone has its own opinion, he can say it without your assistance. about what he likes or not

Huge thanks, guys, for the organisation of this event. It was the first emulative experience for Ukrainians, and the atmosphere was really great during these 2 days.

This video is worth seeing, because the editing and sound are at the very high level. I enjoyed watching it.

It was a gerat competition! Thanks for all organizators and for all people that took part in it. On this video level of Russian playing may be not so high, but it`s just a problem of time!

Watch'd the vid and it made me feel sorry. You're right. Some styles are so pathetic...and people are going to do f*cking nothing to change it somehow. That's a pity.

Well, Sergey, I already watched the video.
I can't say that I regret downloading it, but it's not something I'm going to keep.

The video is way too long and big sized for that content. Like half of the video was intro and results, which is boring.

Do you have the Open routines or circle competition online somewhere?

Regarding to the actual game level, I didn't expect much. Personally I didn't really enjoy watching anyone play on the video.

Saying something in the lines that you don't care about your style at all and just want to play footbag as you want, it's alright I guess. But if one is aware that their style is sloppy and execution unclean, then why do they put videos of themselves online?

There were two shots that struck me as completely inappropriate. One in particular seemed lewd and another that seemed not only out of place but disturbing.

I find it strange that there is a video with little kids and close-ups of anonymous peoples lower regions. Bad-strange.

Aside from that, I personally would not use the same footage repeatedly in one video. I may have done this in the past but as I see it now it comes across as filler. It encourages people to scrutinize the level of play rather than appreciate it.

I thought that some of the editing was done with care. The inserted graphics show a technical skill that would work really well in another video. Perhaps one with less video-game RPG/Family album graphics. Whoever put these graphics together unveils that they have talent, both in some of the shots, tools, and effects. If they get around to making another, more substantial video, it would be nice if they took the time to accumulate, experiment and preview a little bit more.

Regarding the file size. The file is large and the only time I noticed any great resolution of image was when I was staring at the inserted graphics. Perhaps this is why I hold such disdain for their aesthetic, though the technique showed effort and potential. In other words, I feel that this video could have bee compressed a bit more, if not just for file size, but also for consistency.

There were a few strings and tricks that I liked a lot. I liked the series of motions. It was fun and visually rhythmic. I could see video art being made out of that sequence. Here is an example of what I mean:

Back to the tricks. That string at the end was also pretty rad.

Summary: Know your audience. If it is a bunch of dudes, refrain from music with lots of lulls. The guitar picks up and works later on but I demanded way too much patience (in many ways) from me in the beginning. If you are going for a more general audience, long, seductive pans of adolescent legs, followed up by faceless camel toe (minutes after watching a series of junior freestyle interviews) is not the way to go.
