If you guys are just trolling, cool. It's actually a good one in the trolling sense.

If you are serious about these things you guys are saying, props. You demonstrate a complete lack of respect on a basic human level. I'd take a badass dude that plays tiltless with HORRIBLE style than a little prick who plays beastly with impeccable style. Being a good player means ... nothing?

Junior completely owned you Sergey Federov.

haha haven't seen the video yet, it's still downloading, but now I am really curious to see it!

You guys are fucking brutal to eachother!

SUPPORT one another rather than taking shits on your friends.

I'll post again once it's done and I've seen what all the commotion is about.

But for now, be nice Russia! :P

Hey, I've just finished watching this. I've got some thoughts.

The best thing about Footbag is the community. What I have seen in this video is that Russian Footbag community is pretty damn cool! You, guys, have a lot of fun of what are you doing with this little ball. From what I have read in this thread there are few Russian players who don't understand that it is all about fun rather than becoming a robocop with a crazy style. It's easy to see that a lot of players on the video have some problems with their styles or with a cleaness of some moves but noone should talk about this with such stupid words. Especially you Sergey! Dude, you're an impressive shredder. World class shredder! You should be an authority for other (worse) players. Why not tell them some advices rather than some shit? I heared from many players that they don't like you because of your character. It would be a really big blow for me if I knew the community of the sport which I love don't respect me and don't like me. The respect and friendship is a hundred times more important than massive moves and 300+ Shred30s. In some time I won't be able to play but I'll still have tons of friends and I would keep myself near Footbag as long as I want. It's nothing personal but dude, just be a nice person. Everybody be!

PS. I liked the intro a lot! But the ending was useless (especially for people who don't know Russian letters ;) ).

First of all, first time Russian thread got soooo much different comments. Very good, don’t you think so?

Edited.

As for, what I’m saying some time on forums: I have my own opinion. You can like it or not. But it is your problems, how to react to my words.

Rivers, there was no need in me on this event. You will not have good time, if I’ll be there. Just cause not everyone likes me xD
I still hope, we’ll share circle some time. And Junior, MadMax, John. I have nothing against you, guys, and hope (big smile) you do the same thing.

p.s. About video. Editing was done well. But i dont like it cause of music and footage and results in vid.

Wow a lot of things was written in here! :)

What can i say - russians a very impulsive nation!)

A like the video a lot. especially editing. Agreed with a "not the best" styles of the players, but it is the first russian open. Experience will come soon. For now it is a lot of fun and footbag of course.

Absolutely agreed with Cod:
You should be an authority for other (worse) players. Why not tell them some advices rather than some shit?
Better give a advice than tell a bad things about style.

2Lazy-Bonez Like always outside the post. We talking about "russian open 2008" video, not about relationships between sergey and russian players, and you. You care a lot about person who have one's own opinion. Probably you to close to each other.

Tell to everyone what gonna happend between us - it is a not best way to contending your point of view. Its only ours business.

Lazy-Bonez, you're understanding the whole thing incorrectly. Sergey likes his reputation, he is proud of being stand-alone top-level shredder. That's cool.
Nobody hates him, really. In fact, "bastard-like" Sergey is just some kind of meme in russian community. He's a nice person inside, i think.

don't know, what to say. There are too few of us to conflict. And of course modified doesn't deserve all this bullshit. :)

Overall. James Randall is right. Your arguments are invalid. =) Peace.

there are lots of guys (and here on modified too) who can give a word on that i helped them alot with different stuff and advices, when they camed up with really sincere wish to ask a questions or asking for any help. and we became good friends i guess...

i was so pleased to answer all questions i was asked in my footbag Ñ

Hello all, i didnt see video yet, just downloading and sorry, but i want post some more "shit" in this topics :)

I really dont care about all that stuff, to me footbag is out of that stupid "politics". I liked this event very much, play, people who came, organisation and so on. This was REAL footbag comunity event.

Thank you, Cod, i liked your post.

I can agree with talks about "you post that stuff just to get some props", "dont post videos, if you cant do clean tricks" and "dont use great words". But i cant understand about that we "just play the footbag only to make ourselves busy".

I started play at 2003, and still i cant get even normal intermediate level...well, sorry that im not so gifted as you.

Anyway respect other players please. thanks if you readed this.

may be you goona cry now? so somebody will stroke your head and tell you "do not cry poor Jonior, you going to be a Senior one day"

if you really want to improve stop beg for praise and go analyze your game, watch your self hiting your dirty tricks for thousand times, after that watch a good player hiting those tricks, focuse on every single part of his body, on timing, when he start every part of a trick, imagine all this and try to do it that way, or even better.

do you really need somebody writing good shit on your game to keep you playing? (even if they are just dont care)

just do it for yourself, if you really think you can
