Played again today in climas. They're the most comfortable while missing skin from my heel. Hit some minor new stuff. I ended up working on my clipper game for the second half of the session which turned into me working on stepping.
Highlights:
Flip Pixie ss mirage
Flip Blur
Footed Ripwalk > Far Symple Swirl (gahhhh I was so so close to sealing it)
I'm learning to love my climas. But alas, I know I'll never truely love them until I mod them. They're probably my only pair of shoes I that I know a Brocka mod would be quite helpful. I just don't want to cut them up yet though. At least I have another brand new pair of mesh lavers that I know I'm going to fully mod this time around

Played with my friend tony today for maybe an hour? I wasnt watching the time.
Highlights:
Phoenix (again)
Assassin
Flip drifter (again)
Played more smoothly?
Fun little run that started off with a few ss mirages then I threw in a pixie ss mirage and later a spinning clipper and ducking clipper. Wasn't a long string. It just felt fun.
Flip pixie is definitely getting there. It just needs to be a tad more controlled and consistant. Flip pixie ducking should be coming soon. My right leg started to hurt in the joint where the leg meets the rest of the body (whatever thats called). No more pixies and I tried drifter and that was a no no. Maybe its a sign to take a day off. We'll find out when I play tomorrow
I'm getting a lot happier with the toe area on my climas now. I'll mod the insides but i think I'm only going to pull off the fins. probably not do the silicone caulking.

I did not get to play again like I said I would due to getting a virus. Its been like an epidemic in my family all of a sudden. Started with my little cousins, then my aunt and uncle got it, then my sister, then me, then my brother, then my other aunt, and apparently now my mom. Will it never end?!
I'll try to play tomorrow just so I can get in one last session of the year.
I hate being sick

Kicked for the first time since I got sick and therefore for the first time this year. It was an alright session, but damn I could feel all the carbon dioxide from the week of ginger ale and the dehydration due to the nature of my virus. Once I got to the second bottle of water I was doing better. Nothing real special.
Highlight like things:
Tapping pickup bs
Whirl x2 bs
Boy do I suck at whirls. I'm finally making progress though
Felt nice to finally hit consecutives.
Just when I told myself that if I want to have longer strings again, then I should probably get back into lavers, I hit an 18 contact string. It started off all normal, repetitive tiltless, so I threw in symp mirage. Didn't drop. I threw in a pixie ss clipper. Didn't drop. It was as though my climas were making a last effort to still be played in for a while. And so they shall be. My new lavers aren't broken in or modded yet anyway.
Okay, back to reading Siddhartha
Good bye

Bowling match today. Lost as usual
Scores: 179, 151, 171
Season Avg as of today: 164
Before we left for the match today I was fooling around with my black leather lavers and a Mr. I learned to love the laver inside. I might have to do the silicon mod to my climas.. Anyway, I also deemed that I love symp whirl. I can only do it one side, not even consistently. But hitting it feels so cool. I love the way it looks.
Theres some kind of talent show thingymabob at the end of february. I think I'm going to enter, BUT I will practice more than 2 days or a week for it. But in order to do that I need to finish my eagle scout project (which should be done this month).
Yeah.

I forgot to mention a couple days ago that I hit zulu clip bs
Bowling match 1/8/09
Scores: 131, 158, 160
Talk about an average killer.
current average: 157
I just have to make up for it next week.
So today I had a college interview for Princeton University. I was really nervous but I think it went pretty well. I'm hoping that I'll get a good review from the alumnus that interviewed me so it boosts my chances of getting in. I think the only thing keeping my chances lower are my SATs. They're not unacceptable by princeton's standards, they're just on the lower end of what they look for.
We shall see

Played yesterday. Kinda less than satisfactory. I ended up changing to my old lavers later in the session. I felt like I was playing in clown shoes lol. I never realized how big on me they really were.
Tried to school osis for 13 ish minutes tonight. I came to a certain realization. Ever since I sprained my ankle at the end of June '08, I've had less crank on my right ankle than my left ankle. I've known this. But what I didn't know is that many times in the middle of a move like whirl for example, I just stop flexing my ankle. I just rely on the instep of the shoe. My flipside ankle stays flexed no problem. I guess I'll need to really start focusing on that.
I've also realized that I haven't played as well in my climas because I haven't spent nearly as much time on basics as I was recently with my lavers.
Operation G.A.S.A.D.B (get ankle stronger and do basics) has begun
and here's a pic of my bag collection to date:

Okay, starting with bowling stufff.
I don't remember my scores for tuesday and wednesday, but I remember the averages. Tuesday I averaged 150 and thursday I averaged 168. That brings my current average to about 161.
Okay, footbag
had a session that lasted inbetween 3.5 and 4 hours today. Took awhile to get going. Tried doing basics, didn't get far. I eventually decided to try to hit flip flail. I was unsuccessful. I'm able to do a nice clean dex, I just don't have the timing or speed down yet to land it. Soon. I also tried hitting ducking flail. Footed it but nothing further.
Hit a few miscellaneous things that I'd hit before but not for a long time. This includes spinning pdx mirage and gyro mirage. I feel like there was something else that I just don't remember.
Then I practiced atomic a tad. Hit a nice legbeater. Footed flip. Will seal that soon.
Hit a seemingly beautiful and purely satisfying symp whirl. Tried for flip but came to the conclusion that flip whirl is still a tad too awkward. I hit strong blender twice. Footed flip.
Because I was in a whirl mood, and I randomly had confidence in what I think is flip stepping, I tried for blurry whirl. I know, I shouldn't be trying that, but today was one of those days where you just can't resist. First few tries were oddly and freakishly promising. My stepping was being extremely cooperative. Tried it soooo many times lol. I had my camera phone going so I could get the first time hitting it on camera. Alas, I never hit it. I did foot it several several times though. As I said earlier, flip whirl is awkward, and trying to hit this on the other side was indeed awkward. I was sooo freakin close to hitting it. SOo close.
I've been playing around with spinning ducking the last few days and it seems to be coming more easily now. So I decided to wrap up the day by going for spinning ducking osis. I eventually hit it. That made it my 6th 5 add.
Here are my 5 adds:
Ducking Butterfly Rake bs
Dimwalk Rake bs
Parkwalk Rake
Ducking PS Mirage
Phoenix
Spinning Ducking Osis
A lot of footing went on today and not enough sealing. Whatever, it'll come with time. I was trying a lot of stuff today that I know I shouldn't really be trying. This is what happens to me when I can't play regularly and have a good training regiment like thing. I really have to get the motivation to train better. I could have made this post way shorter by simply doing a list of highlights, but I was more in the mode of stream of conscienceness.
Goodnight all and thanks for reading (if you actually read

I've been trying to do muted stuff a bit lately, so here's a muted stepping op xbd. I got it on video first try so I figured why not put it on youtube

Hijacking of a blog yes, but I had to read Lord of the Flies for school. Definitely a weird book. Especially with all of the gangish/group manhunts for Roger and all of the killings, I'm surprised someone's parents didn't complain about the book.
With all of that aside, it was a good read. I wouldn't have picked it out, but it was good.

Had a make up bowling match today. Bowled quite mediocre. Scores: 148, 163, 153
Current average: 163
I'm yearning to kick sooo bad
John Goode
I just fulfilled my yearning
Highlights:
Infinity > Whirl > rpt (finally!!!!! flip whirl is getting much better)
A lot of drifters bs (so close to bsos)
Some things finally started to click
I did strain some kind of muscle high in my leg (maybe groin) trying an atomic way early on lol (i didn't stretch). Luckily whirls, infinities, and drifters barely use that muscle.
I'm way too hyper to get to sleep tonight

Last thursday bowling scores: 172, 221, 177
Current average: 177
Finally had a session today. It was pretty rockin
Highlights:
Spinning butterfly bs (first try strong side, second try flip)
Flip DLO first try
Pixie Slicer (my first 6!)
20 tiltless again
Some fun guiltless combos and strings (none more than 6 contacts I think though)
Infinity x15 (finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Ducking Clipper x5
I think every session that I hit 20 or more tiltless I'll spend some time on guiltless strings. (Lets see how long I go by this rule
