I played for 2 hours today. It was really great, no pain at all. My ankle swelled up a bit, but fuck it, it was worth it.

Goddammit, Dark Side of the Moon has the best transitions ever.

I can play perfectly again, so this will likely be the last post here.

Or maybe not.

I played for the third day in a row. I'm so sore, but I love it. I broke two of my personal records, which I haven't done in a while, so I was really stoked about that.

I was talking to this guy playing basketball near where I was playing in the gym, and he thought what I was doing was really cool. That made me feel good.

There's a performance show here in November that I think I'll sign up for. If nothing else it'll be good routine experience.

dude totally hit up open mic nights on the late night sarazen. They're fun and you can play footbag. Just bring some music and dick around in front of people who want t-shirts and ROCKBAND2!!!!!!!!!11111111 I did it a couple times and had a jolly ol' time. Nothing serious for them, just kind of showmanship, but definitely sign up for a talent show and bust well!

talk to you later, matt

So I'm in that show. Score! At this point I want to use Atom Heart Mother (about 00:45 - 02:50) for my routine. It's got a nice mix of spots for easy and hard and ...... I really like Pink Floyd.

I played really well today, I'm super happy.

Shred and life are both going incredibly. This was even a shitty week, but I'm ecstatic.

I'm home for the weekend to hang out with some friends.

I messed around for 15 minutes before I showered a few hours ago, and hit some links I'm pretty proud of. Feel free to IM me if you want to know what they are.

Cheers

Played for two hours today.

Drilled for the majority of it, but I got some good new links after.

I'll break my code and post one highlight to make this post not pointless: Blur>Reactor>Blurry Whirl rpt.

Played for 2 hours again.

Practiced my routine for the talent show next month; man that's tiring!

I think I'll be fine, there's really nothing hard about it. I just have to develop a little more endurance in the next 25ish days.

So I'm in another talent show, only this one is on Sunday. I'm going to NYC tomorrow (having a session with NYFA), so the only time I'll get to practice is the day of. Oh well, I'll just have to do easy shit. 3rd place is $100, that'd be cool.

Had a session with NYFA yesterday. It was a lot of fun, I'm glad I visited them. I played ok. All of my stuff was really solid, but I was dropping on easy moves most of the time.

Talent show is in 4.5 hours; I'm pretty nervous. I'm only gonna do like a minute and a half of shred, cause I don't have anything prepared, and play really easily. Hopefully I'll go dropless.

I didn't place last night, but I had a good time.

I played for 2.5 hours today and hit some cool stuff.

This guy waiting for a basketball court came up to me and said I should've won last night; that was really cool.

Yay, more than a month with no posts!

I played for a total of 27 hours in October, and 20.5 last month. That's ok, considering I'm at school now. This month isn't looking so hot hours wise, cause finals are next week, and I want to spend as much time with my girlfriend as possible, and should study before all 3 of my tests on Friday.

I'm super psyched for NYJ. I haven't seen Zac since USO, and playing with other people is always fun. Nice to surprise someone with something that they didn't think you could do. Oh right, there's that other thing too.

I go home on the 13th, so I might be able to borrow a camera and throw something together for an xmas vid, but I'm not promising anything. Hopefully there'll be some decent footage of me from Chicago, cause I get to see myself play like never.

I'm writing my final history paper on Syd Barrett, which I'm enjoying very much.

Hey Matt!

Turns out either Zac or Zeb (they both were filming for me at one point), had some decent runs out of you :)

See you at NYJ!
Look a BLOG! That I never update

Schools over. I've played 6 hours in the past three days, which is about what I'd get in a week at school. I'm really excited for NYJ, I think I'll actually do well in both comp and sideline shred.

NYJ was sweet. Before the tourny I came up with about 5 things that I wanted to try, and I got all of them except for a flip link. So that's cool, but I'm still disappointed with some of my playing. I'm pretty inconsistent. I dropped clipper>ss butterfly like 5 times, but I hit 8 fearless first try, which shouldn't happen at all. I have a strong foundation with good form, but sometimes they crap out on me. If anything else, nyj showed me where I want to go with my game, and I have a good idea of how to go about attaining it.

I just played for the first time in over a month due to a pulled groin. The shred felt great, even though it sucked, and my groin feels ok. Still not ready to get back into it, but today was nice.
