FC Footstar's 11th anniversary tropical get away

Post by MrMeebles »

For all of you planning to come to FC Footstar's 11th anniversary shred/get together/party (which should be all of you. Talk to your travel agent), how many of you would be interested in going to Tropical Islands afterwards?

If you've never heard of Tropical Islands, it's a giant indoor water park near Berlin, built to look like a tropical island, complete with rain forest, sandy beaches and water falls, housed in the world's largest freestanding building (originally built to be a zeppelin hanger). Inside it's a constant 26 degrees in the shade, the water is 31 degrees, even in the middle of winter. There's plenty of spaces to shred, but also swimming, beach volleyball and a 55 meter high water slide.

This would not be organized by the club. If enough people want to do it I will personally handle the logistics. Total cost should be less than 40 Euros per person for 2 days, including transportation, but not including food (or cocktails with a little umbrella).

More information about tropical islands here: http://www.tropical-islands.de/en.html

sounds nice since it's so damn freezing cold here nowadays. but on the other hand kinda weird to enter a huge building and be in another climate zone :?

but the footbag-vienna team will already leave on sunday, so no time for us.
see you in some days!

After Ski Dubai it's probably the silliest thing on this earth. I've been there a couple times and I love the moment where you walk in bundled up with snow on your sholders and see someone walking around in just a swimsuit. However I see less point in going there durring the hottest part of the summer, but sure, why not.

So does this mean you're deffinately planning to go to world's?
