Spring Break jams? (late March/early April?)

Post by Muffinman »

David and I were wondering if anyone had any plans for North American jams around this time. I suppose that everyone's spring break may be different, but it would be a great time for those who are off work/school for a week.

.Org lists nothing between January and April.
Mine and Manna's spring break up here in Canada is March 28 to April 5. When is everyone else off? We'd love to visit California...

The Chaos Green Cup is around the spring time, and just last year we held our first Freestyle tournament with them :)

SO that is something to look forward to! Because its in California and I'd be happy to try to help bunk people!

Our dates aren't certain, but I'm betting the NYFA crew would like to set up a tournament event during the spring and/or summer. Hopefully we won't have it scheduled in the sweltering month of July, but I'll make certain that we have it on a weekend where it won't conflict with other footbag tournaments and is a comfortable date for people to travel into NYC.

I think the Boston jam is during Spring Break, so that's something to look after, and maybe a GRASS would be in the works this year. Who knows?

edit: It could be my imagination, but I thought there would have been a tournament around the Binghamton/Buffalo area. Could there be a surprise jam happening there during the spring, perhaps?

though dates arent solid for my jam or socali, if you want to go to california, stop in oregon first and play with eugene/portland/rogue valley. then, keep going and hit socali. once i know the dates for socali, ill try and arrange mine to make that footbaggy-goodness state sweep possible for you.

Just try not to run into the date of the Chaos Green Cup, we're all trying to make this one out to be a big deal.

For those of you who live under a rock, the Chaos Green Cup used to be a Net only tournament, and just last year we held the first Freestyle tournament with Routines, Circles and Sick3. I would like people to honestly attend this as best as they can.

Lon Smith actually received more prizes placing lower than he did at the US Opens :).
