this is probably answered in another thread, but are the camo G units mesh or leather, and is leather or mesh the best idea for a footbag shoe? I'm using lavers right now but they're giving me shin pains so I've wanted to switch over.

There is nothing wrong with the Mesh Goonits! If you've had mesh lavers and transition to the mesh goonits should be seamless. Same mods as mesh lavers! The only real difference is that you're getting the goonits grippy sole!

Jim Penske, Jorden Moir, Jay Boychuck (Sorry if you see this and I butchered your last name), and myself are a some of the players that have used or are using the mesh goonit.

so mesh G-units. Worth the extra 35 dollars? or does cutting the leather not really matter with leather units? I know that leather lavers are looked down on, so I was just wondering if it was the same thing.

My only pair of laver's were leather laver's and they rocked! Get them if you want to, they were cheaper for me cause of the place the I got them from. I could've went with the leather goonits, but I wanted to try the mesh. It just depends with you and what's in your pocket.

well, If you wana spend extra $$$ go for it... But I dont think that is necessary... Seriously, for a $30 shred shoe, that most people think are the best shoes for footbag... You really cant go wrong.

But, I ordered my pair today... And when I get them, I will report back here with my opinion :D

If I can find a pair of mesh G-units in a size 5.5 or 6, I could rock it. But when they were first introduced maybe a year ago, I think, the only available size was a men's 6.5.

Can't complain. Shoes are shoes.

Thanks Ben, I just ordered some of those Gunits for $25. NOTE, for anyone who wants to save some money on shoe sites, just google Promotion codes for the site in question, and generally you can save yourself 10%->30%, free shipping, whatever, I just did, although, I only saved $2.50 because the shoes were so cheap.

French Gunits? I guess I am Canadian so I have an excuse.

Note* About anyone who wonders if leather vs mesh gunits are better, they both are a supreme footbag shoe. If I find another good deal on the Camo's, I will certainly pick them up for later, however because my last pair of leather gunits was the "spinner" and "leather" kind, and one size too big, I thought I should maybe try out leathers that were actually my size so I can accurately judge the toe surface.

If someone wants me to list the pro's and con's that I personally have, then just PM me or something.

lol, totally forgot I asked you. Ya I know what you mean. I bought a pair, and they're good but I've spent little time shredding them. I stick my Q3's.

I do think I'm gonna pick my old Lavers back up and shred with them a little today. They're pretty haggard too.
