Another Introduction

Post by xpawel18x »

Hello,

My name is Paul. I come from Northern NJ, USA. I've just got back into the sport after nearly 3 years of not playing. I played a lot when I was 14-15. Now I'm 18 years old. Still have my trusty Mr. Sandman and the crappy Hacky Sack(r) by Wham-O toy which I won't ever use again. I'm in the process of acquiring a pair of Rod Lavers. In fact, I just came back from Foot Locker at the mall. They told me they used to carry them but no longer do. Tomorrow I'll be visiting 2 other locations and if still negative I'll be looking to order online. My main interest is freestyle. I used to do circle hacking but no longer have friends who play so I'm all alone. I am quickly training back my tricks. I can do the basics like mirage, legovers, butterfly kick, ATW, etc. I'm just glad to be back in this great activity, sport, w.e you want to call it. I hope I get the motivation I need from you guys to keep hacking.

hey paul!

modified is a great place to get some inspiration, for two reasons:

1. It's got the freshest footbag media / info from all over the world! There's nowhere to get new footbag videos sooner, and there's endless inspiration for new tricks and drills and stuff in the New Moves and New Strings threads.

2. Modified can be so frustrating and disgusting that it will actually encourage you to NOT read it, so you can spend more time acting on that inspiration ;)

welcome. Hope to see you at some east coast tournaments.
BRICK!

I bought my lavers online from zappos. I checked 3 foot lockers in our area and none of them had it. So order online, and save yourself a trip. Cool that you're from SB. How long have you been playing and how old r u? We should definetly meet one day.

Ok cool,I'll check out Zappos then.I've been using some crappy crochet sack from modell's.The reason i can do the stuff you can do is probably because of my freestyle soccer backround (Google it if you don't know what it is.) I've been doing freestyle soccer for year on and off, and footbag for but 2-3 months.
I'm 13 which might seem "kiddy" to you but I'm a little ahead of my time if you know what i mean haha.... and yeah we should definitely meet up one day maybe once i get my shit together we could ugh .. go from there. :)

I don't know anyone who shreds in SB. The only time I shred in SB is with a friend once when we cut school and went by Wal-Mart. I live in the northern section of Garfield. Once you get your gear, we'll choose a site to meet. Oh BTW, I hope we have a snow day tomorrow!! :P

If you have AIM, just hit me up on Footbagger4Life. So we don't have to send replies here back and forth.
